Oxfordbnb

Stayed recently with my partner and young daughter. We had such a lovely, relaxing time! We were in the loft room which was warm and welcoming with everything we needed. The bnb is in a great location, a quiet village on the outskirts of Oxford which is easily accessible by bus or a lovely walk along the Thames which took us about an hour. Our hosts were friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast was delicious, and plentiful. Eggs, croissants, berries, cereals etc. would love to stay again and happy to recommend to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Oxford.

Quiet location, off road parking, 2 minute walk to bus stop, 5 minute walk to pub. For walkers the river tow path is nearby & that takes you into Oxford City Centre (about an hour). Hosts Brian & Siti extremely welcoming & are happy to help with any questions you may have regarding the local area including transport, pubs, restaurants, places of interest. The room was clean & had everything you would need (single en-suite). Continental breakfast was excellent. The only downside was the noise from the room above. Could do with some sound proofing. I would definitely stay again.

Very friendly hosts with good breakfast. Bus stop two minute walk runs every 20 minutes to the centre of Oxford. Makes it easy to see and walk the old town . We stayed in the loft,good size room and bathroom. Would stay here again.

A very homely welcoming Bnb run by a really friendly helpful family. A lovely quiet safe area but only a short walk to the bus stop to catch a bus into Oxford. A space on the private driveway for us to park. Next time we visite we will get a tour bus to show us around so we do plan to return to this bnb because really it is truly the best one we have ever stayed in. The room was clean and comfortable and the kitchen/breakfast room could be used whenever needed. One day we ordered in at the suggestion of the owner so had a takeaway in the kitchen. big fridge also in the kitchen where you can keep food if need be. We stayed here for 4 nights and were bowled over by this lovely house. It sits at the head of a quiet cul de sac and is 3 minutes away from a bus stop taking you into Oxford every 20 mins. The hosts Bryan and Siti instantly made us feel very welcome. They gave us great ideas of where to eat locally, places to visit both locally and in Oxford which helped us enormously. Our room (3) was large and airy with an ensuite and a great garden view. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The breakfast room was also large and bright and was available for us to use at anytime, there was a microwave for ready meals or get a takeaway locally and eat in the breakfast room, great option if you preferred to eat in. You also had the use of the fridge, washing machine and dryer. The continental breakfast was first class with a very good menu. Everything about the B and B was thoughtfully planned to make our stay the best it could possibly be. Hope to return next year.

We had a lovely weekend stay at this B&B for my graduation - the breakfast was tasty, the room was very clean, comfortable and cosy. The host was a lovely man who gave us a lift into the city so we could be in for the morning. It was nice that we were left to it when it came to helping ourselves for breakfast and our room etc. Would definitely stay again.

All the other review say it all really but we were most pleasantly surprised to find that it was all so very true. Bryan and his wife are so friendly and attentive and willing to help in all sorts of ways. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, very clean with excellent showers. The breakfast room which is predominately self service with all the usual items expected in a continental breakfast but you can order eggs, croissants and hot chocolate to be served. There is unlimited coffee and tea both in the rooms and breakfast room. The breakfast room is available to guests all day so if you don't fancy eating out then buy a ready meal and heat it in the microwave. For a small extra charge you can use the washing machine and tumble dryer. We are a couple of oldies and visited with our son and teenage grandson and I must say it was excellent and a very good choice. We left the car at the BnB during our stay and caught the bus which is a very short walk away and very convenient as it takes you straight into the centre of Oxford in 15 mins or less. We weren't there long enough to try the lovely walk along the river and my husband was recovering from surgery but we plan to do this next time. Oh yes there will definitely be a next time. Thoroughly recommend.

Really friendly helpful hosts who gave us great tips on where to eat out and best ways to travel. The bnb is set in a quiet cul de sac in a nice residential area with parking. A short walk to bus stops a couple of streets away. The room was spotless with a lovely shower. The breakfast room/kitchen is amazing and way beyond our expectations. Use of microwave available as well as use of fridge. Even a washer and dryer if you are on a longer stay. we are hoping to return to Oxford fo a longer stay and will not hesitate to return to this bnb. I can definitely say this was the best bnb I have ever stayed in. Pat and Caroline

An excellent B&B. Attentive and informative hosts, excellent breakfasts and only a very pleasant river walk away from the centre of Oxford. Nothing too much trouble. Rooms spotless with very efficient showers.
