It is ideally located 5 minutes walk from the Government House and 5-8 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square. There is a water bus stop at the entrance of the hotel, as well as a water taxi stop, which is very convenient to go to any island in Venice. Breakfast is average, but it is delicious. The hotel takes a water taxi to Venice Marco Polo Airport for 120 Euros.

For the first time staying at this hotel, the facilities are relatively simple, but the environment, service and hygiene are very good. Especially when I left the Apple X mobile phone at the hotel when I left the store, I remembered asking my daughter to contact the hotel before I boarded the plane. When I was transferring, the hotel told the mobile phone to find it. The key is that the photos I take on the trip are all on my phone, otherwise it will be a pity. Thank you for your honest service, if you will stay at this hotel next time.

The location is very convenient. St. Mark's Square and the water bus stop are very close. The style is quaint, some old, and all the so-called sense of history. Ordinary rooms are small, especially the ones that take the elevator downstairs. Because the itinerary changed, I stayed one day in advance and only booked the general room at this location. Feeling bad, dark and narrow. In particular, the next-door tenant still carries a dog, and does not understand that pets are allowed. The dog was calling all night and called the front desk to solve it. The back trip changed to the third floor suite and it felt good. Relatively quiet, there is a motor sound from the ships on the river.

We stayed here for 3 nights prior to cruise. Desk and concierge service were excellent. The room was beautiful, spacious and well maintained. Location is perfect, just 1-2 blocks from St Mark’s Square yet in a quiet canal side location. Daily breakfast buffet was very good.

Where to even begin? This hotel is stunning; the staff is lovely and helped us book fun excursions and restaurants; the rooms are unique, beautiful and the beds are unbelievably comfortable; the breakfast is delicious; we had one of the best meals of our trip at their restaurant and we are still dreaming about the orange foam on their signature cocktail. Needless to say, we fell in love with this hotel, then with Venice. And will be staying here when we are lucky enough to return to this magical city.

There might be other beautiful places to stay in Venice, but I can guarantee they won’t have a Manager as wonderful as Alvise to take care of you. From the moment he found us ( we were lost!) he couldn’t have been kinder. He speaks many languages and has incredible local knowledge. He made sure we got the maximum out of our 3 day stay. The location is fabulous too. He along with Patrizia made sure we had a wonderful stay in Venice. The accommodation is truly beautiful and between them they ensured we had everything we could possibly want to make our stay memorable . We cannot wait to go back. Love everything about this hotel! It is run by a family and they are very attentive to all your needs. It was a former convent so the rooms are all a little funky in a good way and since we booked directly with their website, we were immediately upgraded to a room with a huge terrace. The location is perfect - just enough off the Grand Canal to be quiet and yet with a lively bar and restaurant scene right out the door. Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel if you are sensitive to noise. The breakfast room is sweet and the selections varied. Best coffee of all the hotels we stayed in. I can't stress enough how wonderful the staff was. This is now my go-to hotel in Venice.

We were in Venice for a few days in the lead-up to Easter weekend and stayed in this small, but lovely little hotel not very far from St Mark's Square. As such, it was well situated to visit many key sights and was also close to the waterside by the Doge's Palace for all manner of water transportation being not even five minutes up an alley running up past the back of the Doge's Palace (the prison cells I think!). The staff are super friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is an ideal base for visitors to return to after a day's sightseeing, to refresh before heading out again for an evening meal. There is a small square around the corner (actually, it is triangular!) which offers a breakfast coffee, a lunchtime snack or an evening meal. We had a lovely time, enhanced by staying in this most comfortable of hotels...

We booked four nights and had a lovely large room, room only, overlooking canal. Large airy pleasant room. Comfortable bed. Clean good linen. Great bathroom. Hot water . All very clean and in good condition We had tea and coffee and biscuits and complimentary toiletries. All replenished. Room cleaned daily. There was a kitchen with fridge and toaster and hob etc which I assume was for general use. The arrangement is you call staff to check in if you are outside their regular slots. You need to call a mobile. Don't think front door bell was working. It's an odd arrangement trying to get hold of staff by phone especially if you don't speak Italian. But they are very helpful and obliging indeed when you manage to communicate. Would definitely recommend this as a good option for all reasons above plus its central location, and it's near San Marco. We managed to get very lost every day and Google maps don't seem to give answers so do orientate yourself

Liked · The hotel is located in the centre of Venice. it is very close to the things you want to see. The staff were all friendly and jolly. Disliked · You expect to pay over the odds for hotels in Venice with this location, but for the price it was a bit ridiculous. The hotel is tired and old(but not in a good way). The room was tiny. The mattress was 30% bigger than the bed base, which is great fun with a crawling baby! Keep the baby in the centre and avoid the danger zones. We had to ask for access to Aircon. The mini bar had a can of coke in it and a beer. It looked like a student's fridge. We were charged £20 a night to put a cot in the room. Of the three hotels we used during our stay, they were the only one that charged us for a cot. It was also the worst cot of the three. It was old and looked unclean. You couldn't sell it for £20.
