Best Hotels in Washington Township

We have had great experiences with this chain and how they treat veterans. So when in Centerville for some antiquing we decided to stay here. First off, all the staff we encountered were first rate, friendly, professional, and focused on providing great service. The hotel itself however is in serious need of repair and renovations. First clue was the alarm at the front desk that kept going off and apparently has been needing repair for over a month. Our room reeked of onions and the bathtub/shower floor was very worn/ stained a grayish color. There were no USB charging ports in the room except one on the TV which only worked if TV was on. Also no electrical outlets in the bathroom for hair dryers, shavers, etc. Mattress was way to soft, more like an understuffed feather pillow which provided no support for back. Overall cleanliness of room needed improvement as well. We even found items on floor from previous guests which vacuuming would have picked up. Until the chain decides to put necessary funding in for repairs and renovations we discourage people from staying here despite great staff.

This Holiday Inn Express south of Dayton is very classic, next to the i675, free parking, and plenty of commercial dining nearby. The room was well-formed, and both beds were spacious. There was a slight smell when I went in. I opened the door for a few minutes and added some air conditioning. Breakfast variety can also be satisfied, with oatmeal, several eggs, bread, sausages, coffee drinks and tea, very good! Price is quite good

A++++ Pete and his stall are amazing, A friendly smile in the afternoon from his staff, Pete walked around the hotel multiple times a day and when I asked him about that he told me he wanted make sure there are no issues with the outside of the property and it is clean, room did not smell like deodorizer the bathroom was clean, the shower was clean and the best part it did not need any maintenance, I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, I did not like the waffle maker instead of a one size waffle it makes three little ones which is a little hard to maneuver on the plate and can get messy when using a plastic nife/fork, I would recommend sausage patties and sliced cheese every day as I could’ve put them in between the two little waffles and made a breakfast waffle sausage sandwich, I will be back next year to visit the Wright, Patterson Air Force Base, and the Kil-Kare Drag*****,

there was nothing majorly wrong with my visit. the breakfast was just a muffin and a juice box i wish the breakfast bar was open. the ac in my room was terrible 😫 though and the side door wasnt working so i had to walk all the way around to get to my room that was right next to the door. and the pool was closed 😔 anddddd you only get bars of soap no shampoo or conditioner thankfully walmart has the dollar travel section and its half a mile away

On a positive note, the room at this Hampton Inn was totally updated and was the nicest Hampton we have ever been at. Everything was very comfortable ... bed, bedding, bathroom, etc. etc. and we loved the decor. We had booked this hotel a few days ahead of time, and upon reading the reviews, I noticed that the noise from I-75 was very loud in the rooms facing in that direction, so I had requested a room on the top floor and away from the busy highway, and felt that this would solve the problem. When we arrived at the hotel around 5, we were told that there were no King rooms left on the top floor, so that was fine. When we arrived at our room, we found that our room was facing and very close to I-75, regardless of our request a few days before. The noise went on all night long. I spoke to a nice lady the next morning at the front desk, and she said that just because we requested a certain room type and location, there is no guarantee that we will get it. As lovely as this hotel was, we probably would not stay there again unless we could be guaranteed a room away from I-75. There seemed to be a lot of places to eat around that area, so that is handy.
