Hampton Inn & Suites West Point
4.2/574 Reviews
First, the good: - Good location for an overnight from St. Louis to Gulf Shores - Right on the main drag, don't need to get off course for your stay - Comfy beds - Fairly quiet area - Pleasant staff willing to help The ”bad”: First off, I don't blame the hotel. We booked pretty well in advance, however arrived around 9:00 in the evening so we got the dreaded room across from the elevators. Certainly not as noisy as some of the rooms I've had in that location, but still get the ”dinging” from the elevator. I didn't remember seeing that the breakfast wasn't fully open, but it's still Covid time so I get it. Just a little bummed I had to go get something for my kids when my parents' and sister's hotels had their hot breakfast (one in Tupelo, the other in Meridian). All in all, would stay here again if I needed a comfy, clean place to rest my head.
