Monday night $20 parmie. Have to say it’s the best parmie I’ve ever ordered! Parmie was huge and thick with a great ratio of batter and sauce with generous amount of cheese! Staff were friendly and welcoming! High five RAVO! Will definitely return

My wife and I attended the hotel's restaurant with a group of friends. We both ordered the senior's fish and chips meal. We received an undersized piece of battered fish, about one dozen chips and the worst salad I've ever been served. It was a collection of small, dry, and tasteless leaves.........with no tomato, beetroot, cucumber, olives, etc. Others who bought a full meal were well satisfied with their meal...........We learnt the lesson that if we ever return, we will not buy a senior's meal.

We had to stay in a motel room at the Ravenswood Hotel, as our caravan was getting repaired. Great spot, good sized room, we were able to cook our own meals,( we took our little gas burner), old, but very clean & pub right next door, couldn't have got a better place to stay. Highly recommended.

Restaurant review: We hadn't been here in a while, so took a lovely early spring drive and landed here for lunch. I had the steak sandwich/burger ($28.50?) and my spouse had the Big Bird (chicken) burger ($24.50?). The steak burger was FULL of well-charred steak, so much so that I had to remove and not eat the bun after a few mouthfuls to avoid overfilling myself! In addition to the heap of steak was beetroot, english spinach, a sharp grated cheese, a couple of slices of bacon, some caramelised onion/onion jam, and some BBQ sauce. The chips were EXCELLENT---hot and crisp. The burger fillings were great, but the bun seemed stale, dry, and was stodgy, which is why I removed it. My spouse's chicken was deep fried and had a really crispy batter, but there was perhaps a little too much batter as he left quite a lot of the crispy bits on his plate. He said the chicken was moist, but the batter had little taste (perhaps it could've done with some spices/chilli flakes?) and the slaw with it was fine. He also loved the chips. And also said his bread roll (slightly different bread/topping to mine) seemed dry and stale. Overall, we were pleased with our meals---they were certainly BIG servings, and in future we may just share a single burger and get an extra side of chips. The location on a lovely spring day is just gorgeous and peaceful.

We had lunch at the Ravenwood Hotel last week and was most enjoyable. I had the carbonara which I asked for without mushrooms and was delicious. My husband and friends had fish and chips. Good value and service and the setting is to die for. Will be returning sooner rather than later. John & Gail Laney

Good setting, but food has gone to down hill. We had a Crazing / Antipasto Plate. Supposed to have cheeses, plural. Had one and a very ordinary cheap cheddar, when queried, oh we are running low on stock so only 1 cheese, supposed to be Turkish Bread, was a dried hamburger roll, Antipasto bowl had 1 black olive, 1 green olive, 1 tiny piece capsicum, 1 piece eggplant and a same size tiny bowl of black olives that were clearly meant for pizza. Over 1/3 of the plate was a dry coleslaw and again when asked was told oh that is for garnish, um over 1/3 of the plate is not garnish. And all for $35, not worth $20. Maybe if you cant do it right take it off the menu. They always used to do great tasting plates. Not to mention on a side dish with cheese sauce tasted like flour, clearly dont know how to make a roux base. Wont be going back any time soon if that is there current calibre of food. And the old bat there couldnt have cared less. And yes this comes from a qualified Chef. Compared with similar plates we have had recently especially in South Australia this was complete overpriced rubbish. Shame as one of our local pubs, will be going back to the other two.

I had lunch today at this lovely place. First time I’ve been disappointed in the food. Ordered the seniors Carbonara - plenty of pasta but the mushies and bacon were sadly missing. I found about 5 tiny slivers of mushroom and about a dozen slivers of bacon. I’ve had this dish before and it’s always great- but not today.

Great pub, great location, great staff, great food, great prices. Only problem is a long line to order food. Not a very big area for smokers and parking can be a problem because of the popularity of the hotel during summer or sunny days

Booked room 4 people only 1 bathroom but easy managed. The rooms are a bit old but clean and very inexpensive. We stayed 3 night, had meals at pub very nice food and very obliging staff. It is a great pity you do not service breakfast as Pinjarra does not offer much service for breakfast. The room is more than comfy, very clean and cleaning girls offered us topups on anything we needed. Would definately stay again but next time i will be sure to go in summer as the facilities are definatly set up for summer. Try the pizzas fabulous. Would score higher but feel for this type of hotel 3 is a good score. Can order take away dinners which is very handy.
