This hotel is the perfect retreat for you if you need a break from the daily grind. We stayed from June 10 – 14th, 2022. Room 125 is maybe the smallest room of the hotel Luise, but very cozy. We were impressed by the silence and were awakened in the morning by the cheerful singing of the birds and the cuckoo. The breakfast is across the street in ‘Luise Park’ and includes everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. During the day you can sit in the stylish lobby or on the cozy terrace. From the terrace, you have a beautiful view of the park overlooking the forest. The terrace is perfect for long evenings, enjoying the silence and the birds. A short walk away is the park with the thermal bath and all the treatments you could wish for. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will receive the ‘Pfalz Card’ with which you have free access to multiple activities. For example museums, and swimming pools. We had a room in the Villa, was very comfortable and stylishly furnished. It was very peaceful. The only complaint was air con was in the sitting area which was not so helpful at night. Free water in fridge, nespresso coffee maker. Very convenient to walk into town. Parking at hotel garage was very reasonable and it’s even cheaper outside the hotel. Pool indoor was ok not as beautiful as the villa rooms but ok for a decent swim. The hotel is situated by a small lake (large pond) which you can easily walk round in 5-10 minutes. Breakfast from reviews I was expecting it to be amazing. It was reasonably good, nice selection, but same thing every day. The staff were lovely, specially a young lady, who despite the hotel being busy remembered the second day what our hot drinks for breakfast were. I would defintiely recommend. I’m not sure what the rooms are like in the main part, but the newly renovated villa annex is lovely.

Great location downtown, 5 minute walk to pedestrian zone. Great breakfast buffet, coffee, tea, juices, cold cereals, eggs, sausage, bacon, lunch meats, cheeses, vegetables, yogurt, fresh breads and rolls - even a vegan section! We stayed in room 101. As you walk in, you are in a foyer. Directly opposite is the bathroom door, tub/shower with stuck on circles for traction and a hand bar for safety, toilet shelving and sink. To the right of the foyer was a room with a door which had a desk, TV, chair and sofa bed, full size, which was comfortable. To the left of the foyer was a bedroom with a full side bed and open closet and spots to sit with cushions. Both rooms had windows that opened for fresh air. Everywhere was clean. 4 euro per day to park, spots were a little tight. Top level, 3, had a walk out terrace with seating and nice views. Staff were friendly and helpful. What more could we want!
