It's a 30-minute walk from Yufuin Station, so you have to take a taxi. You have to go there yourself, but they provide a pick-up service when you go back.
They run a cat play room, and you can pay 1,000 won to play. There are pretty cats, so if you like cats, I highly recommend it or pass.
There is a hot spring in every room, but it is a system that can be used when other teams are not using it. There is one outdoors and two indoors, and the indoors can also be cooled by opening the window.
The food is a bit poor. We bought it from outside and served it, but the fire view menu we ate wasn't worth the money. We didn't order breakfast in advance, so we couldn't add it. Maybe that was a good purchase.

The location is far from Yufuin Station, so I took a taxi. (It costs 950 yen) After checking out, the owner took me there. The dinner and breakfast weren't very delicious, but they were clean and ok. Dinner seems to be procured from a nearby restaurant.

Excellent ryokan with super friendly staff, we really enjoyed our stay. The cats are cute and well taken care of, the baths are great and the room is pleasant. There is one caveat that needs to be mentioned: This is a cat-*themed* ryokan centered around the cats in the cat cafe that it hosts. The cafe is located inside the ryokan but acts as a separate entity and requires separate payment onsite. Very recommended for cat lovers! :3
