The Erawan Shrine formally the Thao Maha Phrom Shrine located 494 Ratchadamir Rd, Lumphini l, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330. The nearest BTS is Chitlom station with a few minutes of walk, the Erawan Shrine was built in 1956 as part of the government owned Erawan Hotel to eliminate the bad karma believed caused by laying the foundation at wrong date. Like the original Hindu Brahma, the Erawan shrine has four faced buddha, the front faced represent career and life, second is for relationship and family, the third face is for wealth and the fourth face is for wisdom and health. You can donate for the dancers to perform infont the four face buddha beside the store selling flower, candles and incense.
