Yong He Gong aka 雍和宫 which is located in the capital of People's Republic of China Beijing and which is considered one of the best preserved Lama or Lamaism Buddhism temples outside if Tibet. Without any exaggerations, this temple is a unique germ in a Beijing cultural heritage necklace. Yong He Temple possesses very rare artifacts which could not be found anywhere else and therefore representing the difference between lamaism and other studied and giving the picture of Lama doctrine. The architectural style was found topical for Lama Temple planning in Tibet. At the same time the temple is commemorating the memory of Qing Dynasty emperor for which glory sake it was established. For instance, The Iron Hall of Qing Dynasty is kept very well in this temple (taking photos are prohibited with both reasons, religious and aim to protect it from light). Another interesting place is Lama sit or Lama throne which is put in big sala of small museum expositions of iron made accessories and artifacts related to Tibetan Buddhism. The hand made carpet with map of Lhasa is very old artifact counted more than 200 years, came from Tibet and well kept here. Numerous Buddha statures from different materials represent Buddha way and Carma circle, these statures are all very important historical artifacts and could be found only in this temple. The huge and tallest Buddha stature was introduced in previous post. Well, to mention all important things I met in this temple will take a long list for writing. Please, come here and discover all of those things by yourself. Incredible place. It is easy to be excessesd by subway, Dong Cheng District, the name of the station is the same Yong He Temple 雍和宫。 Have a nice trip! #culturalattractions#museumquest#historicculture
