[Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas in Dali: Profound, Auspicious, and Endless]Located in Dali, Yunnan, the Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas face the Cangshan Mountains to the west and the Erhai Lake to the east. They were built during the reign of King Quanfengyou of the Nanzhao Kingdom. The main pagoda, Qianxun Pagoda, stands in the center, while the two smaller pagodas guard the north and south sides, standing firmly and majestically. The art of pagoda construction reached its peak here, making it a landmark of Dali and a testament to the flourishing of Buddhism in the area. Later, the grand Chongsheng Temple was built, which was a famous royal temple of the Nanzhao and Dali Kingdoms and was once renowned for its five great treasures. Chongsheng Temple is also the Tianlong Temple in the novel "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber".
