Baihaba Village, the most northwestern village in China

Baihaba Village is located on the border between China and Kazakhstan, only 1.5 kilometers away from East Silek in Kazakhstan, and a border pass is required for entry. Known as the "most northwestern village," from the village, one can gaze at the mountain ranges of Kazakhstan across the way. The village is quiet and retains an ancient simplicity and pristine nature. The grass turns yellow a bit later than in Kanas, and if you could stay for a few days, it would be quite pleasant to wander around the mountains on horseback. For a long time, the people here have maintained their simple and honest folk customs. The residents are hearty yet carry a hint of mystery, which, along with the primeval forests, log cabins, rising smoke from cooking fires, and faint morning mist, create a fairy-tale kingdom.
