The entire California Tower in Lan Kwai Fong is filled with high-end restaurants, and today we chose this Japanese restaurant, which is very suitable for bringing clients, friends, family together for gatherings and celebrations. First, we ordered two drinks. 🍶Cocktail [Lychee Lover], made with lychee liqueur, yuzu puree, lime juice, and lactic acid-adjusted sake. The large ice ball in the glass looks quite exquisite, and the taste is milky and quite special. 🍸Mocktail [Mango Fizz] with mango puree, pineapple juice, orange juice, and soda water, the fruity aroma is strong and feels sweet. The restaurant offers four set menus, and we ordered the [Wagyu Feast] and the [Tasting Feast] which includes both seafood and wagyu. [Wagyu Feast $1080] focuses on wagyu, with the entire set from salad, hot pot, grilled dishes, to sushi all featuring wagyu, a blessing for meat lovers. The hot pot [A4 Kagoshima Wagyu Beef Eye Rib Yanagawa Pot] perfectly combines the aroma of eggs and meat, tender beef with silky eggs doubles the smooth texture, perfect; the grilled dish [A5 Kagoshima Wagyu Teppanyaki with Grilled Meat Sauce] is fragrant when grilled, with tri-tip and shoulder meat, one with a rich meaty taste and the other with a rich fatty texture, each with its own merits. [Tasting Feast $1180] has a variety of ingredients, with both seafood and meat. The warm dish [Sea Urchin and Salmon Roe Soy Milk Chawanmushi] highlights the sweetness of the sea urchin and the salty freshness of the salmon roe; the simmered dish [Lobster Jibuni], a less common stewed lobster, has a white and tender texture, bringing out the natural flavor of the lobster meat. Both sets come with a sashimi platter, with super fatty and tender tuna belly; the white geoduck is fresh and crisp, and the rest are of high quality. Finally, the meal ends with seasonal fruits for dessert, with strawberries, pears, and melon, juicy as if drinking fruit juice.
