Hong Kong Foodie - Sai Kung - The Cabin

The Cabin has been around for years but hasn’t got the attention like the other eateries in Sai Kung, though it’s just across the road from the famous local dessert shop “Honey Moon” 滿記. Expect very high quality food in this small bistro - we started with a special soup, roasted sweet peppers blended in cream, warming and delicious. For mains one of us chose lamb shank, tenderly braised in a savoury red wine sauce, the other is roasted pork belly, with crispy skin it was a delicacy. We both chose to add a little sub charge to our mains ($88) to make it a set so soup/salad, dessert and drink will be included. For dessert the pear cooked in red wine was light and pleasantly sweet.
