I managed to catch the last performance of the iron flower fireworks before the event ended, and looking back at the photos, I realized that the clusters of sparks resembled meteors from a comic book. The park set up a program with a boat sailing through a sky full of fireworks, with a couple and a boatman standing at the bow and stern, respectively. The backdrop of ancient city walls and red lanterns complemented each other, momentarily transporting us back to the era when thousands of trees were adorned with flowers on a breezy night.
