Cathedral of Light

#bucketlistreboot It is located at Placa de La Seu, s/n 09001 Palma. It is a 230 metres 5 minutes walk from the bus stop. Open Monday to Friday from 1000-1700, Saturday from 1000-1415, closed on Sunday. The temple has a lot of light thanks to its 87 large windows and seven rose windows. The interior decoration is mainly Baroque and most of its dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries. The altarpieces in its 16 side chapels, the most famous one is the Corpus Christi altarpiece by Jaume Blanquer, representing the Last Supper. Visitors also come to see the world's largest Gothic rose window with a diameter of 13.8 meters, that was built in the 16th century with 1236 glass pieces.
