The natural beauty of Yunnan is truly breathtaking

I took a trip to Yunnan and only now am I summarizing it. I highly recommend going to Yunnan in the off-season. Only when you go there will you understand the beauty of the 'South of the Colorful Clouds'. This trip fulfilled my wish to see the sunrise over the Golden Mountain. I saw the sunrise over the Golden Mountain twice, and the Meili Snow Mountain and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Some sceneries can only be appreciated when seen with your own eyes. I got up at three in the morning and set off from Deqin County, saw the snow-capped mountains under the starry sky, and waited in the cold wind for the sunrise over the Golden Mountain on the first day of December, the sacred Kawakarpo. The entire trip was not part of a tour group, only carpooling was arranged to see the sunrise over the Golden Mountain. The driver would stop at the viewing platforms along the way, so independent travel is highly recommended.
