A Stylish and Serene Beach-side Retreat

While visiting Sanya for the first time, I stayed in the InterContinental Sanya Resort - and it was gloriously luxrious and relaxing! Plus only a 25 minute drive from Sanya Phoenix International Airport. The hotel itself is gorgeous - an oasis if you will - where water features and lush gardens only add to the already glamourous overall feel. While staying here (booked in for four nights) my friends and I really didn't feel the need to go anywhere else, as we had everything we needed for the rejuventating holiday we were craving: five swimming pools (though one was closed for maintenance), six restaurants and bars to choose from day and night, a small fitness center and the beach (which was just a few minutes walk from our room)! While the beach is said to not be as good as other bays in Sanya, it was more than enough for a quick dip, sunbathing on the sand (there were some stony parts further down though) or a morning stroll to watch the sun rise. For the duration of our stay, we also paid extra to have access to the club lounge, were there was a buffet of afternoon tea and dinner bites, plus drinks (wine included) - this was totlaly worth it, and I would highly recommend you do the same if you can! #momentsmission
