Suzhou Xishan Island | I've come to Xishan so many times just for this homestay

🏞️ Surrounded by mountains and lakes, with the sunset as a resting place. The pure white houses, under the setting sun, appear tranquil and warm, like a painting. At Shuilu Homestay, such scenery is commonplace, yet it always remains captivating. The homestay is located on the southern shore of Xishan Island in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, boasting a prime lake view. Nearby are ancient villages with a rustic charm, and at the entrance of the village stands a thousand-year-old camphor tree, like a guardian through the ages. Gazing under the big tree, one feels as if they could travel back hundreds of years and witness the life of the villagers at that time. Not far away, the dock also serves as a modern speedboat terminal, where you can enjoy a tour of Taihu Lake and admire the beautiful scenery along the shore as if you were in a painting. The rooms of the homestay are primarily off-white, with a total of 15 rooms suitable for couples' trips, family gatherings, etc. Each room is equipped with an intelligent voice control system; just wake up your smart butler, open the curtains of the floor-to-ceiling windows, and you can admire the beauty of Taihu Lake from your bed. Each room comes with an afternoon tea set, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful scenery while sipping a drink and eating a piece of cake, truly leisurely, like 'the old man's interest is not in the wine, but in the landscape between the mountains and rivers.' The first floor of the homestay has a coffee bar, featuring selected Yunnan coffee beans, freshly ground and brewed. Outside the coffee shop, there is a terrace and sun umbrellas, allowing you to enjoy an open-air coffee seat like on the streets of Athens, as if 'the light rain on the street moistens like butter, the green grass looks close but is actually far.' Opposite the coffee shop is a large lawn and swimming pool, with a piano next to the pool. No matter where you take photos, they turn out great.
