Weekend reset at Suzhou :)

Gorgeous historical city one hour from Shanghai, 30 min away from Wuxi. Known for its rich history, beautiful canals, bridges, classical gardens and pagodas makes it wonderful tourist attraction. Slow pace city gives you very relaxed vibe, perfect for weekend getaway from big cities. I would recommend to visit Suzhou during spring or fall. Because of summer heat that reaches daily to 38-39C (100-102F). So it s a bit tricky to do tours and to enjoy city during day. -Suzhou gardens is of course main attraction in this city. Not far from city center. Convenient to visit. It has day and night tours inside. -Pingjiang historical block with gorgeous canals, old historical bridges. You can go on a boat tour (40rmb per person). -Not far from there is Jinji lake, with beautiful promenade, and bunch of restaurants and bars.
