After arriving at Deqin bus station, transfer to a business car of Badi Township residents to Cizhong Village/Achi Dagga Village for ¥50 (contact in advance). The driver will directly help to deliver to the doorstep of the accommodation ❗️Don't go to Badi Township, both Cizhong and Achi Dagga are villages that you will pass on the way to Badi Township. If you go to Badi, you have to take another taxi back. ✅About Antarctic Luo Scenic Area Driving into the scenic area to the trekking starting point Lake 3 takes about 2h. The scenery along the way is very beautiful, with primitive forests. Lake 5 is the most beautiful, and Lake 6 is very similar to Abuji Cuo. Lakes 1-3 + the mountain road into the scenic area are also very suitable for trekking. Small loop Lakes 3-5, suitable for beginners. Large loop Lakes 3-9, requires about 6h of trekking, not suitable for beginners and friends who are on a leisure trip, a guide is a must. ❗️❗️Reminder There are many national treasure-level plants in the scenic area, please do not pick any plants. Please do not leave any trash, the villagers really care about the environment. 🏨Accommodation There are quite a few homestays in Badi, which can be booked on Ctrip. We stayed at Yan Ji Huotang Chicken, and booked the chicken soup in advance by phone. I have to say the taste is really great. The homestay has air conditioning and electric blankets. Winter❄️ is extremely comfortable. ✅Trekking Strategy Winter trekking has certain risks, when it snows you can't see any trails. The tracks are also risky. It's best to find a guide. ✅Snow Trekking Equipment Snow goggles, cotton hat, snow cover, ice claws, mask, cotton gloves, wool socks, thermos. Indispensable. Clothing should be warm and windproof, and sun protection should be done well. ⚠️Note In winter, you can only go to Lake 5, at an altitude of about 4200, and return the same way🔙. The round trip by motorcycle still requires about 9 kilometers of walking and climbing 450 meters. Plateau snow trekking is still very hard.
