Lijiang Ancient City

Getting There - 15/20 minutes from Lijiang Railway Station. 1 hour and 45 minutes from the Tiger Leaping Gorge. 2 hours from Dali on train or almost 4 hours from Kunming on train. Attractions - The old town and all its small streets filled with a variety of restaurants, bars and stores. Well worth spending a day wandering around the town and taking in the culture. Hotels - There is a huge selection of hotels inside the old town. We stayed at the Huayuan Hotel. Good value for money and good location. Food & Restaurants - There are restaurants all over the old town ranging from traditional Chinese to a few Western restaurants too. The bars were lively at night with live music in many of them. Shopping - Huge selection of stores to buy clothes, souvenirs and traditional crafts. #culturalattraction#tigeryear2022#staycation
