GGuest UserThe room was nice, very clean, and quiet. The large and small beds were perfect for a family trip. There were plenty of breakfast options, and I especially loved the 'Saozi' noodles. I chose the hotel's free Terracotta Warriors shuttle service, and to my surprise, the guided tour was also free. Our high-star guide was very dedicated throughout, earning a thumbs-up from me.
The hotel is located just outside Wenchang Gate, very close to the Stele Forest, about a five to six-minute walk. It's also only about a ten-minute walk to the South Gate of the city wall. The hotel service was excellent. I'd like to commend General, Watermelon, and Sago for their warm and attentive service. When we left, they even gave us a bag of souvenirs with various pastries and tissues, which was a very thoughtful gesture.

GGuest UserThe hotel exceeded my expectations. The environment is fantastic, seamlessly integrated with the Huaqing Palace scenic area. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is excellent. They provide buggy transfers from the lobby to the accommodation buildings and the restaurant. Guests can enter and exit Huaqing Palace an unlimited number of times. When going to see the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' in the evening, hotel staff even escort you with lanterns, and it's very close. Walking from the hotel to the scenic area, the view opens up beautifully, and it's incredibly relaxing. The complimentary 'Jinghong Travel Photography' was a great bonus; the makeup artist was enthusiastic and professional, and the photographer did an excellent job – I couldn't bear to delete any of the photos! 😌

The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful sleep.

The front desk staff were efficient with check-in and very friendly.
The hotel facilities were comprehensive.
The environment was quiet, and both transportation and parking were convenient, making it suitable for both leisure and business travel. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xi'an.

The exclusive rooftop viewing platform offers amazing photo opportunities with the Bell Tower. All facilities and amenities are well-equipped, with thoughtful details throughout, and the service is attentive and friendly. It's truly a perfect place to rest during a trip. The brunch, afternoon tea, late-night snacks, and even a small souvenir upon check-out all demonstrate the attention to detail and care provided.

GGuest UserThis hotel is quite unique. The first two days of our trip were hectic, and we were out early and back late, so I didn't pay much attention. Later, I noticed the sign at the courtyard entrance read ”Site of Xi'an Zhao Family Courtyard.” The location is excellent, very close to the city wall and Bell Tower, and not too far from shopping malls and the subway station, all within walking distance. Plus, Xiangzi Temple is right next to the hotel, making it easy to find. The overall environment is great, with a Chinese-style courtyard that looks good from any angle. On the first floor, there's a Hanfu display where you can choose and take photos in traditional Hanfu. However, since our Terracotta Army day tour included a photo session at the Grand Tang Everbright City, we initially didn't book a photoshoot. When we planned to book one on our last day, we found that many ”international friends” had already booked all the slots. I saw some sample photos from other guests, and personally, I think the makeup and styling were better than what we got at Grand Tang Everbright City. I wish I had known earlier; we could have taken photos at the hotel, and it wouldn't have been so crowded. A bit regrettable. The breakfast selection was extensive, but neither my child nor I like to eat cold food in the morning, so the salad and fruit went a bit to waste. I suggest that the hotel could offer more main dish options for guests who prefer warm food. Afternoon tea is also available. Before booking, I saw some reviews mentioning noise, but perhaps because our room wasn't facing outwards, we didn't find it noisy. However, because I didn't know about the room layout, the window of our booked room faced the corridor, which made it inconvenient to open, so we basically kept it closed. Also, the room type I booked wasn't very big. I noticed some larger rooms across the hallway with windows facing outwards and getting sunlight. If I have a chance to stay again, I would consider booking a room on the other side. The hotel staff are quite young. Although a few might not be very experienced, they were all very patient. Sometimes, when we ordered takeout at night, they would deliver it to our room. Every day when we went out, the cleaning staff would clean the washroom area. There are many eateries and a lively atmosphere next to the hotel. The night before we left, we explored further back and discovered a bar street with lots of delicious food and fun places. All in all, I highly recommend it. If I come to Xi'an again, I will definitely prioritize staying here!

GGuest UserTraveling during the National Day holiday, the subway is definitely the most convenient option. The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to the Bell Tower. It's super easy to find – just exit D of Metro Line 2 and turn right. It takes about 40 minutes by subway to Xi'an North High-speed Railway Station. The Kaiyuan Mall nearby offers great photo opportunities of the Bell and Drum Towers. And the Chang'an Grand Restaurant (with its lantern festival decor) right outside the mall is amazing; they have all the local specialties. I actually preferred Chang'an Grand Restaurant over Drunken Chang'an.
Overall, the hotel service was good. Our family suite was spacious, and the hotel has a charming retro style. The electric kettle was an instant-heating type with a retro look, but it wasn't very functional, so I was glad I brought my own. The hairdryer was indeed a Dyson. The hotel even provides disposable bathtub covers for a relaxing soak. The bathroom was also thoughtfully designed with hooks for hanging clothes. The only minor downside was that the toilet didn't have a bidet function.
For those who prioritize quality and enjoy local cuisine, I highly recommend eating breakfast outside the hotel. The hotel breakfast is just filling, nothing special! The breakfast at several Halal restaurants in Gaojia Courtyard Alley was excellent. I tried the *hulatang* (spicy soup) and beef *guantangbao* (soup dumplings), and both were delicious.
From the hotel, you can easily do a city walk around the Bell and Drum Towers, hitting several classic spots like Fenxiang, Defuxiang, Xiangzi Temple, Gaojia Courtyard, and Shuyuanmen. I averaged 20,000 steps daily!
The hotel also offers a shuttle bus service to the Terracotta Army, which you can book on the first floor for 40 RMB round trip per person.

The location is incredibly convenient, with the subway station nearby, making it easy to visit all the major attractions in Qujiang. Yet, the hotel is tucked away from the city's hustle and bustle, providing a quiet and comfortable environment.
The hotel experience was excellent. The Wanfengtang Museum on the fifth floor is a major highlight; being able to admire ancient artifacts right where you're staying truly captures the cultural essence of Chang'an. The public areas are stylishly designed and perfect for photos. Breakfast offers a good mix of Western and Chinese options, including local specialty noodles. Ivan, a staff member, was polite and efficient, making the check-in process smooth.
Whether you're visiting Xi'an for tourism or business, this is an excellent choice. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit.

You absolutely HAVE to try the rice noodles for breakfast! I ate them for three days straight, haha. They come with a stir-fried meat sauce that's incredibly delicious.
The aunties and the front desk staff were all so thoughtful and accommodating. They helped with everything I asked for, even printing dozens of pages of my contract!
**Double Indulgence Afternoon Tea Buffet**: Highly recommended, with fruits, pastries, and coffee.

The room service was pretty good too, especially Auntie Guo at the restaurant – she was so warm and helpful, always going out of her way to assist guests. And the price wasn't even expensive during the National Day holiday!
The only downsides were that the room lacked a main light, only having spotlights, which made it quite dim. The bathroom also had a strong odor due to the lack of an exhaust fan. Plus, the TV couldn't access apps. It would be perfect if these hardware issues were improved.
