Orchard Hotel Singapore

The room was clean. The guy at the front desk with glasses who spoke Chinese was very enthusiastic and super nice. He gave us a lot of travel tips and met all our requests. The hotel dinner buffet had limited choices, but there's a supermarket downstairs. Orchard Road is right outside, and it's very close to the MRT and bus stops. Satisfied.

I've stayed here before, and my impression was pretty good. It's affordable, convenient, and comfortable, ticking all the boxes for a short business trip. It's neither too basic nor overly luxurious.

This hotel in Singapore sees a lot of foot traffic. The doorman at the entrance, who was quite elderly, told me to push my luggage up the ramp myself instead of offering to help, even though I'm a woman. However, I saw him assist other foreign guests with their luggage multiple times, which made me wonder if I was overthinking it. The hotel is located at one end of Orchard Road, very close to the Botanic Gardens, which are within walking distance. While it's not very close to the MRT, there's a bus stop right outside. If you're coming from the airport, you can take a direct bus, though it takes a bit longer. The first Chinese staff member who assisted me spoke very standard Mandarin and was very easygoing. Many airline crew members stay at this hotel. The rooms are a bit small, and so are the beds. The hotel pool looks exactly like it does in the photos!

The location is convenient, right near the subway station. Orchard Road has tons of shops and a great variety of food options. The hotel rooms are also very spacious, and it offers good value for money. I noticed a lot of tour groups and airline staff staying here.

The room was very clean and nice. The front desk staff was friendly and spoke excellent Chinese. There's a Cold Storage supermarket downstairs, which was quite convenient. However, the hotel didn't provide bottled water.

Location: Situated right in the heart of Orchard Road, it offers a great balance of being lively yet peaceful. It's not far from the subway station, and there's a supermarket right downstairs. Room Facilities: Overall pretty good, small but tidy, though the facilities are quite standard and the decor has a retro, vintage feel. Service: There was a very handsome Chinese front desk staff member who was incredibly patient and attentive. I stayed for an additional night, and he helped us arrange to stay in the same room, which was very thoughtful. Hotel Breakfast: The breakfast is fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options! 👌🏻 You absolutely *must* try the homemade nasi lemak and all the different Indian curries – so incredibly tasty!
