Jen Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La

It was my boyfriend’s birthday getaway. Yin Yin from guests relations prepared a very nice surprise with an exquisite cake and a box of chocolate sent to the room. The room was very comfortable and clean.

Our stay at JEN Singapore Orchardgateway was excellent from start to finish. We arrived from Changi Airport using Bus 36, which conveniently stops right across the hotel. The hotel is also directly connected to Somerset MRT Station, making transportation incredibly easy. We arrived around noon, and the check-in process was fast and efficient. Our room was already ready, and we were able to go straight in without waiting. Before our arrival, the concierge team had kindly received a package from KrisShop on our behalf. Collecting it was smooth, and everything was well organized. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. One feature we especially appreciated was the filtered drinking water tap with unlimited free-flow drinking water. It was very convenient and helped us save money on bottled water throughout our stay. The hotel is directly connected to Orchardgateway Mall. On B2, we enjoyed dining at EATAlley, which offers a fantastic selection of famous and authentic Kuala Lumpur street food. During our 5-day, 4-night stay, getting around Singapore was effortless. Somerset MRT Station is literally beneath the hotel, while the bus stop is just across the road. The hotel is surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants, and attractions along Orchard Road, making it one of the most convenient locations in Singapore. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices. Housekeeping kept the room spotless every day. Whenever we needed additional amenities, we simply scanned the QR code in the room and submitted a request. The items were delivered promptly by the hotel’s adorable service robots, Jeni and Jeno, which added a fun touch to the experience. On our departure day, getting back to Changi Airport was just as easy, we simply took Bus 36 from the stop across the hotel. Overall, JEN Singapore Orchardgateway offers an unbeatable combination of location, convenience, service, and comfort. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore.

Astonishing, how a brand like SHANGRILA, links its reputation and reliability to such an hotel. First impact was when we reached the reception for checkin, there was no que, and we waited for the guy to call us to aproach. But instead , he shouted at us for staying in the wrong que. No smile, no hello, just brutal uncivilized approach to seniors over 82 . If we thought this was the worst, we got the real blow when we got to the room, a tiny little box, with a very tiny bathroom, and , mini shower The furniture, kind of mixture of IKEA and MOTEL 8 style All of this gave us tge impression, that we were misled to believe that we should expect the glamour and spirit of famous SHANGRILLA,we knew for many years, in a 5 star hotel (3 stars is to our opinion more than sufficient) With stained carpets! WE ARE SHOCKED AND TERRIBLY FEEL MISLED BUT SHANGRILLA CHAIN SHOULD BE SHAMED
