"Arrived at Noi Bai Airport in the early hours of the morning, and it was easy to walk to. The sleeping pod had enough space, even for someone 190cm tall to sleep comfortably. The pod's details were well thought out, accommodating needs like bag storage and phone charging. There are also lockers with keys for larger luggage within the facility. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. There's a washing machine and a self-service convenience store on the ground floor. It's also very close to the bus stop."

GGrogu on the roadOne of the worst customer services we have had in more than 6 months in Asia. Upon arrival, the receptionist assigned us two upper beds, despite us arriving at 6:00 AM and having booked weeks in advance. Politely, using both English and a translator, we asked to change to bottom beds, as we noticed upon entering the room that out of the 6 beds, only the two of us had checked in, and we asked if we could be near each other since we are a couple. Her response? ”Impossible! We are fully booked! The system does not allow changes.” Repeatedly. We innocently thought it was a system problem. Since we had a second consecutive reservation, we managed to get her to agree to change us for the second booking. When the day arrived, she moved us to another room, much worse, with bottom beds but separated. We complained to stay in the same room, negotiating for just one bottom bed since it seemed ”impossible” to have both, even though it was 9:00 AM and almost all the beds had been vacated by guests! At first, once again ”impossible,” but after insisting, she agreed to only one bottom bed. When asking to change the top bed because it was right next to the door—which rattled and practically didn't let me sleep for two nights—again: NO, IMPOSSIBLE. After having to ask her several times, she reluctantly agreed and did both changes in ONE minute. Was it THAT difficult? And also, clearly it was NOT a system issue in the end, which was very dissapointing. The beds are comfortable, but if you have a bed in room 3A next to the door, the door mechanism does not cushion the impact and the door makes the entire wall next to your head in the cubicle rattle VERY loudly. They should have a way to muffle the door noise. A LOT of street noise comes in through the balcony door. If you are a light sleeper, better look for another option. The cleaning staff makes a great effort to keep everything clean, as it is a hostel where they don't give you ”slippers”; therefore, all the dirt from the street comes in with your shoes, and when stepping on the wet bathroom floor from the shower, it gets spread everywhere. They give you clean towels every day, which is an interesting plus. In the end, it was a mixed experience, with a very dissapointing aftertaste because of the receptionist treatment. If you are looking for cheap facilities for a short stay, it is good. If you have problem with noise, be careful of room 3A. Location and neighborhood is nice.

AAyeshagvnI've been a long time customer in this hostel, every time I visit Vietnam I always booked here. It's been a long time since I last stayed here and I love the new ambience, the room locker is a game changer it's more comfortable to stay knowing that your belongings are secured. Kudos to all the staff, very friendly and accommodating, I really appreciate how they asked you if you need anything once you enter the receiving area tired and beat from outside bustle 😂 Thank you guys.

LLucas1121Hanoi Airport Early Morning Flight Accommodation Recommendation | VATC SleepPod Terminal 1 (★★★★★) This time, I had an early morning domestic flight and didn't want to rush to the airport from the city at 2 or 3 AM, so I chose to stay at VATC SleepPod Terminal 1. I can truly say, it was a decision well worth it! ✅ Located on the 3rd floor of Terminal 1 (T1) at Hanoi Noi Bai Airport, it's just a few minutes' walk to the domestic check-in counters, which is incredibly convenient for those with early morning flights. Although the room is a capsule hotel style, it was much more comfortable than I expected. It was clean and tidy, with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, power outlets, and a reading light all available. The bed was also very comfortable, and the soundproofing was good enough for a few hours of proper rest. Its biggest advantage is getting extra sleep without having to fumble around in the dark from the city in the middle of the night, and no worries about traffic jams or not being able to find a taxi. After waking up, you can walk a few minutes to check-in, making the whole trip much more relaxed. The only minor drawback is that there's no private bathroom in the room; you need to use the airport terminal's public restrooms. However, if it's just for one night to catch an early morning flight, I think it's completely acceptable. My personal rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) If you're like me and have an early morning flight from Hanoi Airport, I highly recommend staying at VATC SleepPod Terminal 1. Spending a little on accommodation for ample sleep and a relaxed departure is truly worth it! ✈️ Recommendation Index: ★★★★★ 📍 Location: 3rd Floor, Terminal 1 (Domestic Terminal), Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi 🛏️ Suitable for: Early morning flights, late-night arrivals, short overnight stays, transit passengers.

GGuest UserThis hostel is quite large and seems very professionally run, but it's not the kind of place I prefer because it feels very impersonal. Another hostel I stayed at in Hanoi was much better. There, the reception desk was low, making it easy to communicate directly with staff, and they would even smile and greet you as soon as they saw you. Here, however, the counter is very high – you can barely see the staff, let alone get a greeting. More importantly, everyone consistently gives off a cold, unapproachable vibe. This applies not only to the front desk but other staff members as well.

TThinh0304I had a pleasant stay at Urban Slumber. The price was very affordable, which made it a great option for budget travelers. I honestly didn’t expect much at first, but I was surprised by how clean the place was. The room and shared areas were well-maintained and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth. The facilities were simple but sufficient for a short stay. Overall, it offered great value for money. I would definitely recommend Urban Slumber to anyone looking for a cheap but clean and comfortable place to stay.

GGuest UserThe hostel is quite a long way from the old city (further than I appreciated from the map). One of the public buses to the airport stops close by though. Staff weren't all that friendly, in fact almost surly on check-out and late to start serving breakfast. Wasn't explained anything on check-in about location of my room or the facilities, although they weren't hard to find. Long list of rules, including a large cash deposit and fines for breaking this and that. Overall it was decent value for my one night stay. The facilities were clean and it's a nice building. The 6-bed dorm room was spacious, though the mattresses are quite hard and thin and there was no storage at all for luggage. All the bunks have privacy curtains, but the lower ones don't pull all the way across because of the ladders to the top bunks.

KKhimmy SIt was a great location, though a bit difficult to find since the place name is different from the one listed here. It’s perfect for backpackers, especially since the hostel doesn’t have an elevator. I am not sure about the AC, but it wasn't working that time. Perfect for budget traveler. The receptionist was very helpful. I availed of the airport transfer in the morning, and they picked me up on time.

GGuest UserCan trip.com help this hotel improve when it comes to cleanliness so that no one will be a victim of insects and at least what we paid for is worth it. I cant imagine myself on my stay in this hotel that I jumped out from my bed because the rat pass near my forehead while I was just resting and because of this I was awake until morning. They transfer me to another room but cant still sleep due the noise near my room. They transfer me again for the 3rd room, but I just really survived on my 3rd day because I get tired of telling them. On the third room, there is a fly, ants and other small insects. I dont know how they clean. So traumatic experience with the mouse,in my whole life, first time I experience rat crawling near my forehead and even the rat enjoy big bite on my bread that I place in my bag. Please trip.com,help this hotel improve if possible because I like to book hotels and flights thru trip.com.I was not able to take photos of the rat because of my nervousness that time.

GGuest UserThe owner of this place is incredibly kind and helpful; they even assisted me with my arrangements. Being a local Vietnamese, they've created a wonderful environment where I've met many interesting people from different countries. It's been great chatting with them and making new friends. A good friend even gave me a piece of bread!

GGuest UserI stayed here for three nights in a mixed dorm. The location is pretty good — close to public transport, some cafés, and a few bars. That said, the area gets noisy at night, so light sleepers should bring earplugs. The hostel itself is okay. Check-in was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were friendly enough, though they seemed a bit disorganized during busy hours. The common room is small but has a few couches and a TV. It’s a decent place to meet other travelers, but there’s no real social atmosphere unless someone starts something. The beds are basic — thin mattress, clean sheets, but the pillows are flat. Each bed has a reading light and one power outlet, which worked fine. Lockers are available, but bring your own padlock. Cleanliness is average: the dorm was swept daily, but the bathroom floors stayed wet, and the shower drain was slow. Breakfast is simple (bread, jam, instant coffee). Free Wi-Fi works in common areas but not great in the dorms.
