Hefangkou Great Wall

I have always thought that all the national roads departing from Beijing have been walked again. This time I took the 111 National Road, also called Jingjia Road. The national roads driving north will cross the Great Wall. The Great Wall passing by the 111 National Road is the Great Wall of the River Defense. The terrain is very dangerous.

If you want to climb the Great Wall, take a car to Qinglong Gorge. It is two steps forward. It is not to the river mouth, but a door is built and a monument is erected. There are two people at the entrance of the Great Wall who charge 5 yuan. You can start climbing the Great Wall along the dirt road. It has been repaired, so it is quite safe. The Great Wall of the River is located in the village of the River of Huaibei Town, 15 kilometers north of Huairou District, Beijing. Because of the river fortification, it is called one of the important gates of the Great Wall. It is the river gate of the ancient book.

Beijing is a best destination to start the Great Wall exploration and amazing travelling to the past time, because this city, the capital of People's Republic of China, has biggest number of Great Wall scenic spots. Hefangkou is one of them and truly interesting.

This Great Wall is almost on the side of the road, and in Huairou, the suburban county town is on the way to Hebei Province, a wild Great Wall is in front of you. This Great Wall looks good to climb, but when you go up, you can know that this Great Wall is difficult to climb.
