Longcang Temple

Longzang Temple, formerly known as Cihui Temple, was built in the third year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (629 AD). It was presided over by the eminent monk Dalang in the early Qing Dynasty and the poet Xuetang in the late Qing Dynasty, respecting the virtuous and valuing talents, attracting a gathering of literati, poets and calligraphers, building a forest of steles in Longzang Temple, and building a stele for water control by Dalang and monks. Longzang Temple covers an area of more than 300 mu, with beautiful scenery and many ancient trees. It is a typical temple of "half descendant temple, half jungle". There are 9 exquisite Ming Dynasty murals in the collection, which brings together more than 200 ancient and modern calligraphers such as Su Shi, Huang Tingjian, Wen Zhengming, Wang Shouren, Dong Qichang, Shi Tao, Liu Yong, Liang Tongshu, Wang Wenzhi, He Shaoji and other ancient and modern calligraphers. Among them, the magnificent and exquisitely painted murals in the main hall are regarded as works of art and are called "Dragon and Babu". Longzang Temple is a very valuable cultural relic unit. Not to mention the murals and the forest of steles, the architecture is very unique.
