The temple is a brick-wood structure with a rolling shed and resting hill style. It is five bays wide and one bay deep. The roof is covered with yellow glazed tiles in the resting hill style, and there are four red round columns under the corridor, with the front face being wooden carved arch windows. On the east and west sides of the wall are the well-known deeds of the seven sages, such as Zhao She's 'impartial law enforcement', Lian Po and Lin Xiangru's 'returning the jade to Zhao', 'asking for punishment with a thorn bush', 'harmony between generals', and the three loyal acts of Han Jue, Cheng Ying, and Gongsun Chujiu sacrificing themselves to save 'the orphan of Zhao'. The stele forest corridor to the west of the Seven Sages Temple is called 'Handan Stele Forest'. China's largest Tang dynasty epitaph, 'The Epitaph of He Hongjing', is also stored here.
