There was a tomb of Jusanshi near Shigetsuden, which is said to have been built by her mother Masako Hojo to mourn the second Shogun of the Kamakura Shogunate, Minamoto no Yoriie. As the name suggests, 13 stone pagodas were built side by side. The 13th warrior is the 13 vassals of the assassinated Minamoto no Yoriie, who were found and killed in a plot against the family, and are said to have died.
It seemed that he still supported minamoto no yoriie, the grave on the nearby stone steps.
