Jiantang Town is the seat of Shangri-La County, Yunnan Province. It is 3,300 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by mountains and the terrain is flat in the middle. It was once an important station on the ancient tea horse road. It has a long history and a large area of traditional Tibetan-style houses in the ancient town. It is one of the ten famous ancient towns in Yunnan.
Jiantang Town is located in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan at an altitude of 3,300 meters. It is a heavy town on the Tibetan line and an important station on the ancient tea-horse road. Jiantang Town has Dukezong Ancient City, Guishan Park, Moonlight Square and other attractions, as well as the famous Pudacuo National Park.
