Yunjin Pavilion

Wenta is an iconic attraction in Lizhi Bay, named after the shape of a pen tip upward, is a hexagonal pagoda, it is said that the three leading figures in the Qing Dynasty have been to Wenta to pray for blessings, and now many children have come to this worship before school.

Wenta is located opposite the Caoxi Restaurant in Liwan District, Guangzhou, on the edge of Liwan Yong, close to the Litang bus station, with convenient transportation. This is a tower made of large green bricks, which resembles an upward brush tip. Wenta is said to have been built in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, and is dedicated to Kuixing (folk called Wenquxing). It is rumored that the three leading figures in Guangdong in the late Qing Dynasty went to Beijing to catch the test. They visited Wenquxing and won the title. Wenta is now listed as a cultural relics protection unit in Liwan District.

I also looked at the historical materials of this Wenta in Lichi Bay Chung and found that this tower is located in the south facing north, which is also a historical building in the city. In the past, when it came to the Dragon Boat Festival or a relatively large holiday, it would be beautiful with lights.

1. Lizhiwan Wenta (hereinafter referred to as Wenta) in the Lizhiwan Yong Scenic Area, it is worth a slow tour. (See photos 2) Wenta (also known as Wenbi Tower, Wenchang Tower), sitting south to north, is a six-point two-story pagoda brick tower. It is the only famous tower in Guangzhou that means the prosperity of Wenyun. The tower is13.6 meters high, the base is stone feet, the tower body diameter is 5 meters (Dongguan large blue brick), the tower mouth is equipped with plain tiles and tiles. The first door of the tower is embedded with stone "South Axis" (green book), and the second floor window roof is embedded with stone "Yunjin Pavilion" (also green book). The tower's treasure is a pottery-plastic gourd, like a text straight into the clouds. Wenta has been through more than 400 years of wind and rain, is a cultural relics protection unit in Guangzhou. Wenta worship sacrifice is mainly composed of three procedures: sincere wish, courtesy, and turn the tower around. Among the rituals prepared by worshippers, there are many onion, leek, oyster, bun, pen and other items. These items are all moral, onion is smart, leek is diligent, oyster and bun is in the bag, pen is learning and writing articles under the pen to produce flowers. 3. My family lives in a community on Huagui Road, not far from the Wenta. I take a walk to the Wenta for dinner. I will also bring my friends to play here. I can't count how many times I have been to the Wenta. My feeling is that the Wenta is never tired of seeing. I have seen teachers with the first grade of primary school students Wentaxing to open a gift, I have seen candidates who have risen to high school or college entrance examination (high school entrance examination), come to worship Wenta to pray for good results for the exam. The big banyan tree next to the Wenta hangs a lot of red bars, (see photo 2) is their sincerity. At night, this place is a paradise for dog friends and dog parties. (See photo) I am one of the interested onlookers, and also took photos and videos of it. 4. Wenta is adjacent to Guangzhou Antique City, and is close to the Luxi Restaurant. The attractions of Lizhiwan Yong Scenic Area, which are also part of the Wenta, include: Lizhiwan Dashi, Liang's Ancestral Hall, Chen Lianbo Mansion, Erawan Buddha Statue, Shishang Feiyu, Liwan Museum, Xiguan Folk Museum, Jiang Guangxuan Former Residence Memorial Hall, Lizhiwan Grand Theater, Xiaohonglou, Xiaohua Xuanzhai, etc. You can visit together. Folk believe that Wenta can bring people auspicious luck, especially when the exam can pass smoothly.
