Nanhu Wetland Park is a water entertainment, tourism and leisure resort scenic spot with a large planned area in northern Anhui. At present, the park is rich in wild wetland plant resources. There are more than 100 families of various plants. There are more than 74 species of more than 36 families of wetland plants, more than 20 species of migratory birds, 18 species of aquatic fish, and various types of pika, Wetland beasts such as grass rabbits and yellow squirrels. Every year, a large number of migratory birds, such as geese and white cranes, migrate and inhabit the wetland park, and thousands of other birds spend the winter here. Since the park's protection and construction, sewage facilities have been improved to prevent pollution sources from entering the wetlands. At the same time, 20,000 cubic meters of purified water enters the lake area every day to make it flow and circulate. Coupled with the natural purification of plants, the water quality is maintained above the second-class standard all year round. The overall framework of Nanhu Wetland Park has been established. According to the overall plan, a comprehensive service area, a theme water culture area, a teaching and research area, a core wetland protection area, a waterfront activity area, a water activity area, and a northern square area will be built.
