Jinzhong

Pingyao Ancient City is a national historical and cultural city. It is the hometown of Shanxi merchants. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Shanxi merchants ranked first among the top ten merchant groups in China. The city was famed for being "the richest in China." The Wang Family Courtyard, Qiao Family Courtyard, Qujia Courtyard, Caojia Sanduotang, Changjia Manor are all majestic and magnificent. Jinzhong’s natural landscape is dominated by many famous peaks in the Taihang Mountains and Taiyue Mountains. The newly developed Yuci Wujin Mountain, Shouyang Fangshan and Shunyun Longshan are all good places to get a stellar view of the area.
