Thought the park all through the day are small and large cultural shows aimed at showcasing the culture and traditions of the Song Dynasty in this replica town. The town was modelled after the famous painting ‘On the River during Qing Ming festival’ and you really feel like you’ve stepped right into the painting!

The merchants born in Gansu, Shanxi and Shaanxi who had done trade in the prosperous city of Kaifeng has found it. We were only going to stay a few hours but ended up staying the entire afternoon and into the night. The park itself is huge，and it reminds me of Disneyland with a Song Dynasty twist. There are no rollercoasters though！There are shows running every twenty minutes so make sure to plan out your visit. It is also very beautiful at night （there is a final big show at 8：15 pm by the lake so be sure not to miss it！）and there is a Foodie Town with lots of great things to eat！You can even ride camels or other animals as well！Would highly recommend this place if you want to learn more about the Song Dynasty！ #lightthecity

Departing from Zhengzhou for a day trip to Kaifeng, whether you take the bus or the intercity train, the speed is quite fast and very convenient. I set off in the afternoon and took the intercity train from Zhengzhou East to Songcheng Road Station. After getting off the train, there is a bus that goes to the scenic area. I bought a joint ticket for three gardens, first visited the Han Garden, then went to the Kaifeng City Wall to watch the sunset, and in the evening, I went to Wansui Mountain Martial Arts City to watch a performance. The day's itinerary was packed and clear. Taiyuan has poetry programs, and the city wall also has a light show. What surprised me the most was the iron flower performance at Wansui Mountain at night, which was really fantastic, definitely the best I have ever seen. Wansui Mountain Scenic Area closes at 11 pm, and the last iron flower show is at 10 pm. By this time, many people have left, so you don't have to worry about not getting a seat in the audience. However, the same buses, shared bicycles, and electric vehicles are probably gone, so you can only choose to take a taxi or walk.

Kaifeng, although it is the ancient capital of eight dynasties, has been flooded by the Yellow River several times, and now there are only three real ancient objects on the ground: Fan (po with the second tone) Tower. Fan Tower was built during the Northern Song Dynasty. The biggest highlight is that more than 7,000 Buddha bricks are inlaid inside and outside the tower body, one brick for one Buddha.
