The building where the Guangzhou Post Expo Center is located was completed in 1916. It has successively served as the office building of the Guangdong Post Administration, the Guangzhou Post Office of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, and the Guangzhou Post Office. In August 2002, it was announced as a provincial cultural relics protection unit. It is a comprehensive expo hall integrating exhibition, collection and sales functions, and a window to display the history and philatelic culture. The exhibition area of the expo hall is nearly 1,500 square meters, and there are three exhibition halls. The first floor is the philatelic exhibition center: displaying rare stamps and selling all kinds of stamps. Exhibition hall on the second floor: It displays the long history of postal communication development in China and the historical changes of Guangzhou Post with Lingnan characteristics, reflecting the development history of ancient postal communication, modern postal service and people's postal service before the reform and opening up of new China. Exhibition hall on the third floor: Display the development history and future prospects of Guangzhou Post after the reform and opening up. Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, especially the brilliant achievements of Guangzhou Post in the 21st century, it will introduce the new achievements in the development of postal communication technology, and look forward to the future prospects of Guangzhou Post. Visitors here can not only understand and understand the changes and development of postal history, handle postal and philatelic business, buy stamps, but also appreciate the unique architectural art. Now the Expo will hold stamp exhibitions on the 2nd and 3rd floors from time to time, but the 2nd and 3rd floors are rarely open to the public. This building has been killed twice in a century, but it is still able to glow with strong vitality today, which can not help but make people feel respected. The building is a typical European-style building. The yellow-brown granite cornerstones and huge colonnades are slightly mottled. It is very imposing and full of history. At present, it has been listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Guangdong Province, and together with the Expo Hall, it has become a living fossil showing the development history and philatelic culture of Guangzhou Post.
