Orlando is one of Florida's most prominent tourism cities. You can visit a variety of amusement parks like Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. The city has become known as America's "Home of Theme Parks". Whether or not you are traveling alone, as a couple, with friends and relatives, or young children, you can still enjoy some of the fairy-tale magic while on a relaxing trip here. Other than going hog-wild at all the different theme parks in Orlando, you can also go to one of the many seaside holiday resorts spread all throughout the region. Florida's tropical style, sunshine and sandy beaches warmly welcome visitors.
Universal Orlando Resort is a highly popular theme park. A model of Universal Pictures' iconic earth logo can be seen at the park's entrance. The resort boasts of themed complexes for the Minions, Shrek, Transformers, Harry Potter, The Mummy Returns, among others, where you may watch 4D films, go on thrilling roller coaster rides, or take pictures with your favorite cartoon characters. Universal Orlando consists of two theme parks. A “Park-to-Park Ticket” entitles one to ride the Hogwarts Express from the World of Harry Potter bound for Islands of Adventure. With train interiors being the exact replica of the movie, this ride can't be missed by Harry Potter fans.
SeaWorld Orlando is the second largest marine theme park in the world, second only to the Sea World in San Diego, USA. The lively and interesting dolphin, walrus and sea lion show has always been a popular attraction for visitors to the Sea World. SeaWorld Orlando consists of three parts, one is a marine-themed paradise, the other is a water park, and the third is a tropical rainforest theme park called “Bush Garden”.
