Beautiful to walk along the river or take a boat cruise along the river during cherry blossom time. Absolutely beautiful!!

Delayed Sakura bloom

We came here on 1 April 2024 to see Sakura but unfortunately it is still too early and the river cruise turned out to be rather disappointing. I think it will take another week to see the full bloom.

Beautiful river

This is a beautiful river which you could talk a stroll along the river at the Minamitenma Park to enjoy the river view. Be sure to check out the Nakanoshima rose garden and park as well.

I stayed at "Hotel Keihan Tenmanbashi Ekimae", which opened on April 3, 2022, and went out to see the cherry blossoms along the Okawa River after dinner. I walked slowly on both banks from Tenmanbashi to Genyatsubashi. It seemed to be fun to see the cherry blossom boats coming and going. The atmosphere of the flowers that were lingering at night was also exceptional along the river. The next day, I enjoyed Bunraku "Yoshitsune Senbonzakura".

I participated in a ship cruise during the cherry blossoms in full bloom.

I heard that this is a famous place for cherry blossoms, so I came here when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. There are many sightseeing boats at Hachikenyahama dock. I participated in the Okawa Sakura cruise. Take the boat for 25 minutes while enjoying the rows of cherry blossom trees on both sides of the Okawa River. There were many participants. Sakura was beautiful. After the cruise, there are many food stalls and shops on the riverbed, which is also one of the pleasures.
