About Santai: Under the administration of Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, Santai is located in the west-central Sichuan basin to the southeast of Mianyang City. Major attractions in Santai include Sichuan's second largest Taoist temple, the Yuntai Temple, as well as Qijiang Ancient Town, Xiping Ancient Town, and Qinquan Temple. The famous Tang poet Du Fu (712-770) resided here for a time, when he wrote the famous patriotic poem Both Sides of the Yellow River Recaptured by the Imperial Army.
