South Lake Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist area and a provincial scenic spot. The scenic area is located at the southern foot of Hanshan Mountain in Nanzheng District, Hanzhong City, which is known as "the Han and Three Kingdoms" and "Little Jiangnan in the Northwest". It is 13 kilometers away from the "Hanzhong" toll station of G5 Xihan Expressway and only 2 kilometers away from the "Nanhu" toll station of G85 Babao Expressway. It is close to National Highway 244 and has very convenient transportation.

South Lake is a comprehensive eco-tourism resort integrating tourism and irrigation. The scenic area covers an area of ​​7.62 square kilometers and the water area reaches 1,109 mu. The mountains are beautiful, the scenery is beautiful, and the four seasons are distinct. Ginkgo, crape myrtle, pine, cypress, bamboo, fir, osmanthus, and tea trees are scattered all over the hillside, echoing the winding lake. There are attractions such as the zoo, Huaqian Valley, Lanyue Tower, White Crane Pavilion, Hundred Flowers Garden, Lion Pavilion, and Root Carving Art Museum in the scenic area.
