Siem Reap Comforts Hostel

Siem Reap Sok San Road
We spent one night at Bayon Shadow Villa. The room was ok, the door of the bathroom was broken but everything else was ok. The swimming pool was perfect for a hot day. The hotel is located near the old Market and next to many cheap restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Location of the hotel is much further away from Pub Street. However, the hotel has complimentary one-way transfer from the hotel to Pub Street between 5pm to 8pm daily. The Family Room is huge with a king, a single and a sofa-bed. Service provided by the front desk staff and restaurant staff were fantastic and simply awesome. They are always ready to assist you any time. Breakfast spread is pretty good with cook-to-order egg station, toasts, pastries, fruits, fried rice, sausages, baked beans, etc. The restaurant even prepare take-away breakfast since I've to leave the hotel at 5am to catch sunrise at Angkor Wat. Upon checking-out, a one-way complimentary transfer to the airport is provided as well.
Isann Lodge

We stayed at the Isann Lodge in SIem Reap for 6 nights and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to base ourselves. Special mentions must go to the reception staff, Socheata, Mouykea, The barman Chheav and of course the experience manager / GM, Evan. All went above and beyond in their duties to ensure we had the most pleasant and flawless stay and did so with the most enormous smile and enthusiasm. The Isann Lodge is a hidden gem, slightly out of town but getting around is easy with tuktuks right outside. the pool area is a heavenly sanctuary, a true jungle experience with palms, fruit trees and exotic flowers enveloping it. The hotels’ Farm to table affiliation is also an absolute delight. A short tuktuk ride away along a dusty track, a lodge appears, festooned in twinkling lights .. again a truly magical experience. All in all I would highly recommend to travellers looking for an authentic Khmer style hotel, full of character and quirkiness and one that when you wake up, there is no doubt in your mind that you are in the heart of Cambodia.
The Unique Angkor Villa

Siem Reap Sok San Road
We are currently in this hotel, near Pub street and the night market, while in a small street at the distance. We take all our meals in this hotel because the choice is varied (international cuisine and Khmer), and also good. The hotel is comfortable, and the super pleasant swimming pool, and always clean. We also take our meals on the edge of the pool. A free tuk tuk service for arrival and departure, paying for the trips, with a very sympathetic and serviceable tuk tuk, which feeded us with fresh water all day, thanks to its ice cream. A washing service is also available. In short, nothing is missing. If there is a hotel recommended to Siem Reap, that is it. If I come back to the region, I come back to Unique Angkor Villa. The owner, even made the effort to speak a little French. I could still say long, because here all your wishes are heard. A room without window had been assigned to us. My wife was sick, and before spending more time inside, the boss agreed to change our room.

Stayed in this private Villa for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Easily accommodated the 9 of us. The staff were excellent and Ms Sopheak Yam made sure everything went perfectly from airport pick up to drop off. Would definitely stay again. It is a short tuk tuk ride away from the main town but with plenty to see on the way in. Rooms are all good sizes and comfortable. The living spaces are ample and the pool is perfect for the Cambodian temperatures. The catering was fantastic. On the whole cheaper and far more relaxing than our last stay in a resort.

Low 々 I was worried about the poor construction, but thanks to the kind owner and staff, I was able to spend a comfortable time. There is also a restaurant nearby and you can walk to the market. It was a calm inn where frogs could be heard from night to morning. I was a little concerned about the poor construction, but thanks to the kind owner and staff, I had a comfortable stay.
