The Catholic Church at No. 110 Shigu Road, Nanjing, is a typical Catholic church building, built in the ninth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1870); the church was severely damaged during the Northern Expedition; in 1928, the National Government allocated funds to rebuild it; after the 1930s, here It has always been the cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Nanjing. The building is thick in appearance and simple in shape. The plane is an orthodox Latin cross, which belongs to the early European monastery form. The structure adopts quarter vault and arched rib cluster columns. It is the only remaining Romanesque building in Nanjing.

This is my second Home 🏡 as a foreigner living in Nanjing I really value going to the church ⛪️ as it makes me closer to God and also everyday I meet new people with good hearts ❤️ Sunday English mass is at 6pm 🕕 if you are a Catholic living in Nanjing , please do attend the mass , you’ll feel so peaceful!
