Booked this hotel for a business trip. The front desk staff were friendly and incredibly diligent. They offered turn-down service, and the breakfast in the morning had a great variety and was very plentiful. It's only one bus stop away from the airport and easy to find.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times. The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation. The facilities are complete, and the hotel is clean and tidy. The front desk and housekeeping staff are very diligent and responsible. They even provided a complimentary breakfast. I'm very satisfied!

I specifically chose this hotel because of its location. Gulangyu Island is right across the street, so you can enjoy the view and watch the sunset from your room. It's also within walking distance of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and a short taxi ride to Nanputuo Temple and the Botanical Garden, which is very convenient. The hotel breakfast was decent. The Chinese restaurant on the third floor is quite good. The housekeeping staff made an effort to fold a small animal out of towels every day and place it in the room, which was a nice touch.

Was back to the same hotel the 2nd time. Everything was good, Ms Jojo was attentive and friendly at all times, and even suggested places to go. She made sure the room was ready before my arrival and the check in was completed swiftly. Had an upgrade of the room. Staff are all courteous and greet the patrons every time. Highly recommended was the bed and room - I had restful sleep every night. The room was quiet too. Housekeeping was commendable. The housekeeping sister was friendly and made sure supplies were restocked n room cleaned. Checked out the gym - a relatively new and well equipped gym, with trainers/ instructors. The equipment are clean n new. Well appointed gym! Being just right above the metro station makes moving around so convenient, to the 三坊七巷 or to 世欧广场- both just 1 station away. One area which I noticed was that cab drivers do not seem to realise that they could drive into the hotel porch to pick/ drop off passengers. Perhaps some signages cld help the driver to understand that they could drive pass the gantry to get to the sheltered porch area to pick up/drop off passengers, especially during raining days. Thank you Ms Jojo and her colleagues for making my stay exceptional warm and a pleasure. Will definitely consider the hotel again if I’m back Fuzhou again.

First off, the location is fantastic, right inside Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and very close to the ferry terminal from Gulangyu. Being on Zhongshan Road means it's lively all around, so it never feels deserted when you return at night. It feels like the entire building belongs to this hotel. You need to use a key card to access the guest room areas, which provides excellent security. The check-in area has plenty of comfortable sofas and separate, clean public restrooms for men and women. If you arrive before check-in or after check-out, you can store your luggage. There's a dedicated luggage room, and the staff are very patient when helping with bags – their service attitude is excellent. The front desk is also 24/7. I saw them working late when I went out for takeout, and when I called at midnight with an issue about the projector, the front desk immediately sent someone up to fix it. The room was very clean, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. The mirror was large, and the wardrobe was quite spacious. The bedding was also spotless. The staff seem very well-trained; they made us feel very comfortable. I'd love to stay here long-term. Food deliveries can be brought to your room by a robot.

The hotel's garden is absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere is quiet and elegant, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. It's incredibly relaxing to just be there. The location is also excellent; it's very convenient for dining out and shopping. The soundproofing in the rooms is great, so it's very quiet at night, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast is exquisitely presented, making for a truly ceremonial dining experience. But what truly stands out is the service! When we arrived, it was raining, and the reception staff immediately came over to help us with umbrellas, getting themselves wet in the process – it was incredibly thoughtful. Such a warm and attentive hotel is a rare find; every detail makes you feel secure and comfortable. Whether for a trip, a vacation, or just a relaxing short stay, this place is absolutely perfect. I will definitely be back!

This was my first business trip to Fuzhou, and I'm so glad I chose this hotel. Not only is it in a great location with convenient transportation, but it's also right in the heart of Sanfang Qixiang, one of Fuzhou's bustling tourist hotspots. It's an old house that's been converted, making it perfect for photos! What really touched me was arriving at noon, and the front desk staff actually let me check in early and even upgraded my room! Everyone working here was so polite and always smiling, and they even proactively helped me open doors and carry my luggage (old houses have high thresholds!). The breakfast here is simple yet substantial, offering both Chinese and Western options, as well as local specialties, and you can even dine outside! My entire stay was fantastic!

I visited Xiamen 11 years ago and was immediately drawn to this building, it had a 'old money' vibe! This time, I finally got to stay there!!! **Check-in:** The front desk staff were decent and professional, but the concierge, not so much. They lacked attentiveness; at least no one came to help me with my luggage when I got out of the car. **Room Facilities:** It's a mix of 5-star and 4.5-star. The TV supports screen mirroring, the AC is powerful, the toilet is automatic, and there's a capsule coffee machine – basically, it has everything you'd expect. I'm deducting 0.5 points because the slippers weren't comfortable!!! **Value for Money:** I'd give it 4 stars. I booked the 1958 Nanyang Style Queen Sea-view Room early for just over 800 RMB. I got a free upgrade, and then upgraded one more level upon arrival for an extra 150 RMB per night, ending up in a Gulangyu Sea-view Room! Given that it faced Gulangyu, it was pretty good! **Breakfast:** Didn't try it, because it was expensive! **Wifi:** Pretty mediocre. Once I mirrored to the TV, I couldn't stream videos anymore... **Bed:** The mattress was a bit soft for my liking. The duvet was quite thick, perfect with the AC on! The pillows were great, with both high and memory foam options!!! The rug on the floor was a bit redundant and easy to trip over! **Restaurant:** The restaurant on the 7th floor had decent food, but the service was disappointing. **Cleanliness:** On the surface, it looked good, but if you looked closer, it wasn't great. The windows weren't opened, neither were the doors, and there was dust on the bedside table... **Bathroom:** The toilet was automatic, and the shower stall had excellent sealing. However, the water from the bathtub faucet was yellow... Do the housekeepers not clean the bathtub? Also, the hotel amenities are JO BY JO LOVES, but housekeeping wasn't timely enough in replenishing them! **Service:** Generally very good, they were obliging and polite. However, attention to detail is needed, especially with replenishing toiletries!!! **Room View:** The hotel is located in the heart of Xiamen, directly opposite Gulangyu. Turn left out of the hotel for Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, turn right and cross the road for the ferry terminal to Gulangyu. The Bashi Market is less than a kilometer away!! **Parking:** I didn't drive, but I passed by the parking lot and noticed it was surprisingly small... **Room View (repeated for emphasis):** Directly facing Gulangyu, I even caught the 'salted egg yolk' sunset!!! **Afternoon Tea:** It was complimentary upon check-in, but I honestly don't recommend it! It was terrible! The salmon sandwiches were left at room temperature and could easily spoil... The ice bucket was full of water and hadn't been refilled... Well, it was a complimentary voucher, so I just gave it a try... To sum up, the hotel's facilities, location, and service meet 5-star hotel standards!!!! It's worth experiencing if you're visiting Xiamen!
