Loved this beautiful, traditional hotel in Fuzhou. The staff was super accommodating to my dog and extremely helpful. Parking was very convenient right opposite the street where the hotel was in. One note, while the hotel itself was super pet friendly- my dog was even allowed to come with us to the breakfast restaurant and they made sure to arrange a quiet spot- it should be noted that the hotel itself is in a pedestrian area that doesn’t allow dogs. It would have been nice to know this beforehand. When I let the concierge know that we weren’t being allowed into the street, he immediately came running to assist and we were allowed to walk from the hotel and back during our stay, but it would’ve been nice to know beforehand. The staff was kind enough to tell us where in the area I was allowed to walk my dog. The room and amenities were beautiful though and other than the doggy inconvenience we loved our stay. They even were quick and helpful to send back the jacket my mom had forgotten in the room.

Highly recommend this hotel! 1. The best thing is its location: inside the ancient city, the North Gate leads to the food street and is next to Taigu Bridge; the South Gate connects to Taiwan Road, making it super convenient to reach all the scenic spots and food areas in the ancient city within minutes! You can slowly experience the ancient city by day and night: mornings are peaceful but full of local life, where you can chat with residents and enjoy local breakfast in nearby streets to start a vibrant day; at noon, it's too hot, so head back for a nap and scroll through your phone; at 4 PM, head out to find food or a spot for coffee and just relax; evenings are all about the hustle and bustle! 2. Hotel environment: It has a courtyard design, with flowers and plants everywhere, making it a quiet oasis in the middle of all the action. It offers the warmth of a B&B with the management of a hotel! 3. Room: We chose the 3rd-floor LOFT, which gave the kids their own space. It would have been even more perfect if the view from the balcony was a bit better! The public area on the 2nd floor is also great, you could sit there all afternoon with a coffee or tea. 4. The ancient city offers a variety of snacks, so you can spend a whole day just walking, stopping, eating, and exploring 😁 Everyone can cross中山公园 (Zhongshan Park) to 青年路 (Qingnian Road) for more food! I recommend 锦群饭店 (Jinqun Restaurant); for a Cantonese foodie like me, it's right up my alley – large portions with that 'wok hei' flavor! It has that street-side stall vibe! We ate there two days in a row. Although the rating isn't high, I've included photos, so you can judge for yourselves.

I came to Fuzhou for the Pleasure concert this time, and following my rule of 'new over old,' I chose this hotel among a bunch of older Hilton and Kempinski properties. Even though it's considered a 'lite W' (a more affordable version of W Hotels), it was actually really good and offered excellent value for money. The location is great, about 20 minutes from Fuzhou Station. It's also less than a 20-minute drive by taxi to tourist spots like Yantai Mountain, Sanfang Qixiang, and Fuzhou MixC. The hotel is very new, and the room was spacious – perfect for one person. Especially considering it was less than 900 for a night, which is fantastic. A big plus is the strong shower pressure, and you can even enjoy a hot spring bath, which is a huge bonus. The staff were very enthusiastic and had great attitudes. My only complaint is that the breakfast selection was just average, and the taste was nothing special. In this regard, it still can't compare to traditional old-school five-star hotels. The gym on the third floor seems to be a collaboration with a local fitness brand; you just swipe your card to enter. The equipment is fairly comprehensive, and it felt good to get a workout in early in the morning. All in all, if I get a chance to visit Fuzhou again, I'll definitely choose this place. The price is just right!

This hotel is luxurious and elegant with excellent service. It faces Gulangyu Island, and the subway station is very close to the hotel's garage exit. Turning right from the hotel's entrance, it's about a 5-minute walk to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. The rooms are spacious and clean. Overall, a great experience.

We had a lovely stay, the room’s view was great, bed very comfortable, nice cotton good quality lienen, flexible room service time, water/towels etc always topped up/ refilled. Free luggage storage possible. All really smooth and pleasant. Keep in mind that if you choose smart room- need to say the commands to open the curtains in Chinese. I speak some Chinese and it made the check-in and stay easier, however the person who showed us the room wasn’t very friendly.

Highly recommend the Niaodao Seaview Chaosu! The location is superb, right next to Zhongshan Road and the ferry terminal, within walking distance to major attractions, making it super convenient to get to Gulangyu Island. We booked a sea-view room and the view was absolutely breathtaking, with 180° floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing Gulangyu Island, offering stunning sunrise and sunset views. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped with smart controls, a smart toilet, a Dyson hairdryer, and more, all with a great sense of design. The owner and staff were warm, friendly, and provided thoughtful service, including free laundry and luggage storage. The overall experience was perfect, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Xiamen!

Our overall experience during this stay was incredibly satisfying. The pool team, in particular, was outstanding. Special mention goes to Chen and Li, who worked from 6 AM to 3 PM; they displayed exceptional professionalism. They were consistently focused and responsible during their shifts, never distracted by their phones, always attentive to the children's safety, and provided meticulous and appropriate service. Their dedication and expertise left us with a very deep and positive impression of the hotel, even making us consider extending our stay. While I don't recall the names of the other pool staff, they too left a strong and positive impression.

After a very relaxing Dragon Boat Festival, the environment is beautiful, walking the baby, making tea in a daze, listening to the rain, the boss is warm and hospitable, I want to go to add 1️⃣#Bedding is clean and tidy #Room is spacious and comfortable #Room has no smell #The landlord is very good #The location of the homestay is very good to find

🌈 Xiamen's 'Shanghai Peace Hotel,' 'Guangzhou Aiqun Hotel' 🙋 Took my parents to Xiamen and wanted them to experience something different. 👏 Lujiang Garden is full of charm and boasts an excellent location. 🌸 It's right next to the entrance of Zhongshan Road, directly opposite the Xiamen Citizen Ferry terminal. 🍃 Booked a family room, and we got to sleep with the beautiful night view of Gulangyu Island. 👌 The oversized tatami mat could easily fit four children, no problem. 🍜 The booking included a buffet afternoon tea and a semi-buffet breakfast. 🍸 The afternoon tea is on the first floor – just think of it as an executive lounge. 🥂 The cocktails were good; I had two. 🥑 Breakfast is served in the scenic restaurant on the 7th floor, with fantastic outdoor views. 🧇 It's a semi-buffet, where you can scan to order dishes like bird's nest and shark fin, Shacha noodles, Eggs Benedict, and tuna crisps. The mixed scallops, smoked salmon, and seaweed shrimp cakes available on-site were all excellent. It makes sense for a single breakfast to cost 168 RMB. ✨ We had a very comfortable stay. I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance.

This hotel is located on Zhongshan Road, the busiest street in Siming District, making it super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. Whether I arrived in Xiamen by plane or train, taking the subway to Xibei station put me right downstairs with tons of amazing food options. It's also quite close to many nearby attractions. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and gave great recommendations for local sights. There's a sky garden on the fifth floor perfect for photos, and they even have a free robot that delivers takeout to your room. Highly recommended!
