How to Register for the Bangkok Marathon
If you plan to take part in the Bangkok Marathon 2027, it is best to register early and check the official entry requirements before booking your trip.
Registration Steps
- Choose your race distance: Full Marathon (42.195 km), Half Marathon (21.1 km), Mini Marathon (10 km) or Micro Marathon (5 km).
- Complete the online form: Enter your personal details and review the event requirements.
- Pay the entry fee: The listed fees for international runners are US$75, US$55, US$35 and US$25, respectively. Confirm the final amount on the official website.
- Save your confirmation: Keep your registration receipt and check the organiser's instructions for race bib collection.
Registration is listed as closing on October 31, 2026, or earlier if places sell out. Check the official website for current availability before booking your trip.
Tip: If you are travelling from overseas, arrive early enough to collect your race materials and prepare for race day. Confirm the latest start times, course map and registration requirements directly with the organiser.
How to Get to the Bangkok Marathon Start Line

The 37th Bangkok Marathon starts and finishes on Sanam Chai Road, beside the Grand Palace in Bangkok’s historic Phra Nakhon district. With some race categories starting around midnight or in the early hours, plan your transport in advance. Check the official race registration page for the latest event details before travelling.
1. Take the MRT Blue Line to Sanam Chai Station
Sanam Chai is on Bangkok's MRT Blue Line and is one of the most convenient stations for reaching the marathon venue.
How to get there:
- Take the MRT Blue Line towards Sanam Chai Station.
- Follow the station signs for the Grand Palace, Wat Pho or Sanam Luang.
- Check the station exit information and follow the organiser's directions to the designated start area.
- Allow extra time to walk to your race assembly point, as the start line may not be directly outside the station.
According to the MRT operator's station guide, Sanam Chai Station exits provide access to the Grand Palace, Sanam Luang and Wat Pho.
Important: Do not rely on the MRT for an overnight or very early morning start without checking the timetable. This is too late for runners starting around midnight or 3:00 AM.
2. Take a Taxi or Ride Hailing Service
For runners staying outside the historic centre, a taxi or ride hailing service is often the most practical option, especially for the full marathon and half marathon.
Recommended approach:
- Arrange a taxi through your hotel or a ride hailing app the night before.
- Enter the official event venue, Sanam Chai Road beside the Grand Palace, as your destination.
- Check the organiser's race day traffic and road closure announcements before departure.
- Ask the driver to drop you at the nearest permitted access point rather than assuming you can reach the start line itself.
- Leave extra time in case road restrictions require you to walk the final section.
If your race starts shortly after midnight, arrange transport in advance rather than waiting until the last minute to find a vehicle. Keep your hotel address saved in your phone so you can return easily after the event.
3. Use the BTS Skytrain for Part of Your Journey
The BTS Skytrain is useful for getting around Bangkok and staying in areas with a wide choice of hotels. However, it does not stop directly beside the marathon venue.
If you stay near a BTS station, you may need to combine the train with a taxi or another transport option. This can work well for sightseeing before or after the marathon, but it is less practical if your race starts before the first train.
Check the official BTS timetable and confirm the service hours for your travel date before making plans.
4. Which Transport Option Is Best for Each Race?
The event's published schedule on World's Marathons lists the following start times. These should be reconfirmed with the organiser before race day. <Cite refs={["turn109626view2"]}/>
| Race Category | Published Start Time | Recommended Transport |
|---|---|---|
Full Marathon, 42.195 km | 12:30 AM | Prearranged taxi or ride hailing service |
Half Marathon, 21.1 km | 3:00 AM | Prearranged taxi or ride hailing service |
Mini Marathon, 10 km | 4:30 AM | Taxi or ride hailing service; check whether public transport is available in time |
Micro Marathon, 5 km | 5:00 AM | Taxi or ride hailing service; MRT may not be available early enough |
Tip: These are published third party timings, not a substitute for the final official race schedule. If your start time is before the first train, arrange transport in advance.

You don't have to queue to buy tickets when entering and exiting the MRT station, which saves a lot of time. You also don't need to prepare change. You can enter and exit the MRT station an unlimited number of times throughout the day. I always buy this when I travel to Bangkok. It's very convenient!

For my first trip to Thailand, I wanted to ride the BTS (Skytrain) a lot, so I booked a Rabbit Card through Trip.com. It was a little more expensive, but it was convenient to pick it up at the airport. You can also buy it at BTS stations. Please note that a passport is required.
Bangkok Marathon: What to Prepare in Advance
A little preparation can make your Bangkok Marathon experience much smoother. Before travelling, make sure you have the following essentials covered.
- Registration: Save your confirmation and check the official race schedule, bib collection details and course map.
- Flights and hotels: Arrive one or two days early if possible. Consider staying near Bangkok Old Town or Sanam Chai Road for easier access to the start area.
- Running gear: Pack tested running shoes, breathable clothing, comfortable socks and familiar energy gels.
- Weather preparation: Bangkok can be warm in January, so practise your hydration strategy and avoid trying new equipment on race day.
- Race day transport: Check road closures and arrange an early taxi or hotel transfer if public transport is not running in time.
Tip: Check the official Bangkok Marathon website before departure for the latest start times and participant instructions.
Where to Stay for the Bangkok Marathon
If you are running the Bangkok Marathon 2027, choosing a hotel near the start line can save you an early morning journey and help you get enough rest before the race. The event venue is listed on Sanam Chai Road near the Grand Palace, so Phra Nakhon and Bangkok Old Town are the most convenient areas to consider.
Best Areas to Stay for the Bangkok Marathon
| Area | Best For | Main Advantage |
|---|---|---|
Phra Nakhon and Bangkok Old Town | Marathon runners | Walking distance to the historic race area |
Riverside near Tha Tien | Couples and comfort seekers | Boutique hotels near the river and major temples |
Chinatown | Budget conscious travellers | Food options and MRT access |
Siam and central Bangkok | Longer holidays | Shopping, restaurants and BTS connections |
Recommended Hotels Near the Start Line
Riva Arun Bangkok
A riverside boutique hotel near Wat Pho and MRT Sanam Chai Station. It is a good choice for runners who want comfortable accommodation close to the historic centre, as well as views of the Chao Phraya River and Wat Arun.
INN A DAY
This small boutique hotel on Maha Rat Road is close to Wat Pho and the riverside. It suits travellers who prefer a distinctive stay in Bangkok's Old Town rather than a large chain hotel. Confirm the room type and transport arrangements before booking.
Aurum The River Place
Located near Tha Tien, this hotel offers convenient access to Wat Pho, the river and the Grand Palace area. It is worth considering if you want a quieter boutique stay within reach of the marathon venue.
The Printing House Poshtel
A practical option for budget travellers, with private rooms and dormitory accommodation in Bangkok Old Town. Its location near the Giant Swing makes it useful for visitors who want to explore the historic district without paying for a riverside hotel.

Had a really pleasant stay at The Twin Towers Hotel! 😊
My girlfriend and I stayed here as part of our road trip from Bangkok to Khao Kho to celebrate her birthday. Before our stay, I contacted the hotel to ask if they could help with a small birthday surprise, and the team kindly prepared a birthday cake for her. 🎂❤️
It was a very thoughtful gesture and genuinely made her happy. I really appreciate the staff taking the time and effort to make our stay feel a little more special.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we felt very welcomed.
Thank you to the Twin Towers Hotel team for the lovely hospitality and for being part of a memorable birthday trip for us. We truly appreciate it and would happily stay again! 🙏🏼🥰FromHK$194

The hotel's location is excellent; it's convenient to get anywhere in Silom and very close to the BTS Skytrain. There are large shopping malls, restaurants, massage places, and parks nearby, making it super convenient. We stayed on the 29th floor, and the view was fantastic; we could see what I call the 'Key Building.' The breakfast was plentiful, with delicious rice noodle soup, a great selection of salads, and a wide variety of egg dishes with an à la carte menu right on the table. The 25 Degrees Burger on the ground floor is fantastic, with vegan options, and the fact that it's open 24 hours is super convenient. Just a few steps away is a Mother Cow, which has tasty, non-fishy drinks and sugar-free options. The front desk and concierge staff were polite and attentive. The rooftop restaurant has a dress code. I loved the swings next to the elevators in the lobby. There's a self-service laundry nearby, very close, with new machines, and you can get everything done in an hour. The lady who cleaned our room was lovely. It was a pleasant stay.FromHK$544

Riverside Bangkok|2.99km from city center
The room type I booked was advertised as a river view room, but I'd say it's more of a partial river view. The room is located at the bottom of a recess, with other rooms extending out on both sides, partially obstructing the view. However, the room gets great sunlight and is very spacious with excellent natural light. The bed is large and comfortable, and it's incredibly quiet at night – absolutely no noise. The cleaning was also quite good, and the service staff were all very pleasant. The front desk staff speak Chinese, which made communication very easy.
The bathroom is a bit narrow, especially the shower stall, which I estimate to be only about 60cm wide. Even for a woman, you'll find your elbows hitting the sides. It's barely adequate but not comfortable. The disposable slippers felt like they were made of plastic; they weren't breathable, were very thin, and had slippery soles. It's good that they provide disposable toothpaste and toothbrushes, but you need to bring your own comb.
Check-in was stated as 3 PM, and we arrived at 2:30 PM. We couldn't even check in half an hour early and had to wait, which is a significant drawback compared to hotels in China. Also, I don't recommend booking breakfast; the variety is very limited, and the ingredients are all budget-friendly. It's definitely not as good as other reviews claim, and the taste wasn't suitable for us as Chinese food eaters. If I come back, I'd consider staying here again but definitely wouldn't book breakfast.
Check-out is at 11 AM, but the hotel's boat to the SkyTrain station also leaves at 11 AM. If you miss it, you have to wait until 1 PM. So, it's best to check out half an hour early, otherwise, you'll have to take a taxi to the SkyTrain station yourself.FromHK$487

The location is very convenient. It doesn't take long to get to the BTS station near the hotel from the airport, about 45-50 minutes. The hotel is very close to the BTS station, making it easy to get around. The hotel's service is generally good. Perhaps I stayed in an older building, so the facilities felt a bit dated, especially the bathroom faucet which was the twist-on type – I had to get used to how to use it. Here’s a polished, high-quality review you can use:
I had a wonderful stay at Hilton Garden Inn Bangkok. The hotel offers a great combination of comfort, cleanliness, convenience, and excellent hospitality.
The rooms were modern, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist, making the overall experience very enjoyable.
The location is also a major advantage, with convenient access to shopping, dining, and other attractions in Bangkok. The atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing, while the service maintained the high standards expected from the Hilton brand.

Sukhumvit Bangkok|3.87km from city center
The hotel is located in the Sukhumvit area. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. During my first stay, the room was nice and well equipped with everything I needed, including large bottles of shampoo and body wash, a hair dryer, a kettle, tea and coffee, a wardrobe, and a small working area.
However, my experience during my second stay was not quite as good. There was a small hole in the door, which made me feel a little uncomfortable, although it was not possible to see through it from outside. The sink was also clogged. The staff were very helpful and immediately sent someone to fix it. When it could not be repaired, they kindly upgraded me to a family room.
Despite the issues with the room, I was very impressed with how the staff handled the situation and took care of me. The location is also convenient, with a 7-Eleven and several restaurants nearby. I would stay here again if I needed to attend a meeting in this area.
The only downside is that the surrounding area can feel a little unsafe or uncomfortable when walking alone at night.FromHK$420

The room was spacious enough, with plenty of room even with a large suitcase open. I was very satisfied with the service, which included a large refrigerator, daily water replenishment, and even free Coke and instant noodles.
The bathroom also had a bidet, and the hot water flow and pressure were strong and comfortable.
Regarding the location, there's a shopping center nearby and Big C is very close, so there's no problem with dining or shopping for groceries.
On the other hand, I was bothered by a slight musty smell, perhaps due to the age of the building, and the noise from cars, as it faces a main road, was quite loud. If you can overlook the slight age and noise, I think this hotel offers excellent value for money in terms of convenience and service.FromHK$402

The hotel looks nice from the outside, and the staff were polite. However, the room felt a bit dated and could benefit from some maintenance and refurbishment. The pillow had a slight odor, and a few facilities in the room were showing signs of wear, such as the soap holder, bidet spray, and toilet seat.
The bathroom could also use more attention to detail, as I noticed some spider webs.
One thing to be aware of is that the hotel appears to be popular with China groups, and the lobby was often quite busy. At times, some guests were lying down in the lobby area, which made the atmosphere feel an uncomfortable.FromHK$148

## Accommodation Experience Review | A Quality Stay You'll Love After Just One Night
My stay this time truly exceeded expectations. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I could feel the hotel's attention to detail. The overall decor is minimalist and modern, complemented by warm lighting and a pleasant fragrance, instantly making me feel relaxed and as if all the fatigue from my journey had vanished.
The room was more spacious than I imagined, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bed had just the right firmness, and the pillows offered excellent support; I fell asleep almost instantly. The room was well-equipped, featuring high-speed Wi-Fi and an LCD TV, along with thoughtful touches like tea bags, coffee, and bottled water, allowing guests to enjoy leisure time whenever they wished. The most delightful surprise was the view outside the window, which offered different charms both day and night, making me linger for a few extra minutes to admire it.
The bathroom was equally satisfying. The dry and wet separation design made it more convenient to use, and the hot water supply was stable with ample pressure, making it incredibly comfortable to wash away the day's tiredness. The quality of the amenities was also good, exuding a subtle fragrance that enhanced the overall quality of the stay.
Beyond the excellent facilities, the service quality deserves even greater praise. The front desk staff were friendly and enthusiastic, making the check-in and check-out processes fast and smooth. They were patient and helpful whenever I had questions or issues. From arrival to departure, I felt like a valued guest, which significantly enhanced the entire trip.
The location is another major advantage of this accommodation. It's close to popular attractions, business districts, and transportation hubs, making it very convenient for both sightseeing and business trips. There's a rich selection of nearby restaurants, local eateries, and convenience stores, so finding suitable dining options is easy, even if you need a quick bite.
Breakfast is an undeniable highlight. The variety of dishes is diverse, ranging from Chinese congee and Western pastries to fresh fruits and beverages – everything you could wish for. The ingredients were fresh, and items were replenished quickly. Enjoying breakfast slowly in the comfortable dining environment set a beautiful tone for the day's itinerary.
Overall, this is an accommodation option that combines comfort, convenience, and high-quality service. Whether for family trips, couples' getaways, friend gatherings, or business needs, you're guaranteed an excellent stay. Besides enjoying the scenery, choosing good accommodation is equally important, and this experience certainly left a deep impression.
If you're planning a trip soon, I wholeheartedly recommend adding this accommodation to your must-stay list. It's not just a place to rest; it's a place where you can relax, recharge, and enjoy life. Upon leaving, I already started looking forward to my next stay, and I believe that once you experience it yourself, you'll love it just as much as I do.

The location of this hotel is simply fantastic and super convenient! Right next to the Ratchadamri BTS station—just a few steps away—getting around was completely hassle-free. There's also a Big C nearby, so whenever I wanted to buy souvenirs, snacks, or daily necessities, I could just head right down without going out of my way, and there are plenty of coffee shops all around.
There was a pleasant surprise at check-in: the hotel upgraded my room to a suite for free! It was much more spacious, impeccably clean and tidy, and very comfortable to stay in.
The housekeeping staff even folded towels into cute little animals and left them in the room every day. Such a thoughtful touch that always put a smile on my face. The front desk staff were very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
The surrounding amenities are complete with convenience stores and restaurants, and getting to the Erawan Shrine and major shopping malls via the BTS Skytrain is super quick. I had stayed in a standard king room in the main building before and thought the hotel was decent, so I booked a deluxe king room again, but it was a huge disappointment.
First, they asked if we minded a room at either end of the hall. We said to avoid it if possible. They then assigned us a king room with no bathtub, which was also smaller and on a different floor than what I had booked. We were really unhappy, so we asked to switch to the room type we had reserved. This time, they gave us a twin room, directly facing the elevator. This was completely different from what I had booked. Finally, they gave us a king room that matched the location and floor, and it even had a bathtub. However, being moved twice and all the hassle until past 1 AM left us utterly exhausted. I will not choose this hotel again.FromHK$693

Title: Exceptional Hospitality – Mr. Surachet Thetsani Turned a Problem into an Unforgettable Experience!
I believe that the true measure of a five-star hospitality experience is not whether everything goes perfectly, but how a hotel responds when something goes wrong. My recent stay at Baiyoke Sky Hotel Bangkok demonstrated this in the most extraordinary way, thanks to one remarkable individual: Mr. Surachet Thetsani.
During my stay, I encountered an issue with my room that initially affected my experience. However, what happened afterward completely transformed my impression of the hotel.
Mr. Surachet Thetsani went above and beyond anything I could have reasonably expected. His professionalism, genuine kindness, attention to detail, and extraordinary commitment to guest satisfaction were simply outstanding.
He didn’t just resolve my problem. He took personal ownership of the situation, made me feel genuinely valued as a guest, and handled everything with a level of care and dedication that exceeded my expectations many times over.
What impressed me most was that his approach never felt like a routine hotel procedure. It was sincere, thoughtful, and deeply personal. He demonstrated something that cannot simply be taught through hospitality training: the genuine desire to make another person’s experience exceptional.
I have stayed in many hotels, and I can confidently say that this level of service is exceptionally rare. Mr. Surachet transformed what could have been a disappointing memory into one of the most positive examples of hospitality I have experienced.
To the senior management of Baiyoke Sky Hotel: I sincerely hope you recognize and appreciate the extraordinary professional you have in Mr. Surachet Thetsani. Employees like him are not simply an asset to a hotel; they are the reason guests develop lasting loyalty, return, and recommend a property to others.
Mr. Surachet, if you happen to read this review, please accept my heartfelt gratitude. Your dedication, professionalism, and kindness did not go unnoticed. You made a genuine difference to my stay, and I will remember it.
A hotel can impress guests with its rooms, facilities, and breathtaking views. But it takes exceptional people to leave a lasting impression on their hearts.
Thank you, Mr. Surachet Thetsani, for reminding me what truly outstanding hospitality looks like.
You didn’t just save my stay. You turned it into an experience worth remembering.
With my highest appreciation and respect.FromHK$587

We were warmly greeted by Minnie upon check-in. She spoke fluent English and was very helpful in accommodating our requests. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Khun Ning, the Front Office Manager, for helping us change to quieter rooms. Her assistance made our stay more comfortable.
The hotel's location is superb! It is close to the MRT and within walking distance of Central Rama 9. There are plenty of eateries, supermarkets and pharmacies conveniently connected to the hotel, making it easy to get around and find everything we need.
The hotel also offers excellent facilities on the 12th floor, including a sauna, hot spring, pool table and gym. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to try the hot spring during our stay.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and truly appreciated the excellent service from the staff. We would definitely return to this hotel on our next visit!FromHK$566

Repeat stay here. Can’t beat the location being close to the BTS Skytrain Station that can take you to Siam Paragon and Centralworld areas in a few stops. Service of the staff was attentive and friendly. Room was big but it is starting to show its age. Overall, a great stay again.FromHK$455

The hotel provides a convenient shuttle bus service to the BTS station. There's also a small mall right across the street, making lunch options easily accessible. Additionally, the hotel has a hot spring, perfect for a relaxing soak in the evening. When I went at night, no one else was there, so I had it all to myself. The swimming pool is also very clean.FromHK$676

Stayed 2x weeks, it’s Located at 7-10 mins walks to Pom Phrong BTS, which is a big far in case of rainy days or at afternoon which could be scorching hot. But hotel provide half hourly shuttle which complimented this inconveniences. The only problem is limited seat for shuttle🫠, only single shuttle. If you missed have to wait another 30mins or walk back or take Grab😔. There is onsen inside the hotel which make this hotel very very special to me. I truly enjoy and like the onsen features. Another stood out thing is the social Night event every Monday-Wed evening, for an hour free flow of drinks and snacks, something impressed me, unique for this hotel. Though I did not patron every single day. I ate out every night regardless of this, it is a nice place to chill and socialise there. In-room washer make the long stay very pleasant and convenient, so as plenty of drinking water provided. There is no scenery view from hotel due to its location. The breakfast is average , where in some days below average. I truly enjoyed almost daily their swimming pool and onsen, just the operating hours only start at 7am which is a bit late. If could start at 6am instead would be perfect, else it will be a bit rush after use , prior go to work at 8am. The services was excellent. I would rate it 4 star instead , gates by its location and breakfast spread/ food. Aside from this they deserve 4.5star. Will stay again in future if visit BKK again. Oya, there is mini Japanese grocery minimart below the hotel, provide almost most of daily necessities, if you need it. There is pharmacy and 7-11 in opposite road and Tops besides it. Few atas massage shop near by with higher price, further down to BTS you could find cheaper one.FromHK$676

The room was spacious, featuring a mini-bar, a dressing room, and a cleverly concealed space for the washing machine. The water pressure was excellent, and the large bathtub filled up quickly. Breakfast offered a wide selection, including made-to-order items, hot dishes, desserts, bread, fruit, and salads; the menu varied slightly each day during our four-night stay. A shuttle bus conveniently departed every hour to the shopping mall. The swimming pool was large, with a separate children's splash pool. The location was convenient, surrounded by many chain massage parlors and convenience stores. The hotel staff were all very friendly. Had a fantastic stay! They offer not just breakfast, but also late-night snacks, and the late-night spread was incredibly generous. The happy hour drinks by the pool were buy-one-get-one-free, and they even had free Thai costume try-ons with a wide selection of accessories. Plus, there's a shuttle service that takes you near the subway station. The overall environment was very clean. This hotel is truly fantastic! Even though it's not brand new, the quality of materials used is exceptional. Exploring the hotel feels like wandering through a museum, with every display piece having its own unique story. The garden maintenance is superb, and every detail is meticulously taken care of. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly, even asking if you need more bottled water. They offer a shuttle boat to the BTS and ICONSIAM, and the route is similar to a river cruise, so you save on that expense 👍. A taxi from the airport to the hotel cost less than $400, and from the city center back, it was under $200. The breakfast was so delicious that I gained 1 kg in three days 🤣. There's a mall and a supermarket across the street for food and supplies. I highly recommend taking the gym classes; the yoga instructor was absolutely amazing. The service staff were excellent, from the bellboy to the check-in attendant. The room was clean and quite spacious. All toiletries were provided, and there were even 4 bottles of water! The bathroom had a bathtub, and the water pressure was good. The air conditioning in the room was refreshingly cool, making for a very comfortable sleep.

The room is spacious, a one-bedroom apartment with a living room and a balcony. The facilities are a bit old, but it's still good overall. There's a self-service laundry room on the 8th floor, costing 60 baht per load.
I emailed the hotel in advance to request a room with two single beds, and they were able to accommodate my request.
Breakfast was included throughout my stay, which was very convenient.
There's a 7-Eleven at the entrance of the hotel alley, and it's only a few minutes' walk to the BTS, making it convenient to get anywhere. There's also a massage shop called Natural Touch at the alley entrance that offers good value for money.FromHK$294

The rooms are old, and the front desk staff's attitude is just average. Other staff members never greeted me, even when they saw me struggling with my luggage up and down the stairs alone – no one ever offered to help. The room price is high. Came here for our anniversary trip, and at this price, it was truly a steal. The service is five-star, but the facilities are four-star at best.
First, the pros:
1) Excellent service. They upgraded our room knowing it was our anniversary and even sent us dessert.
2) Housekeeping was very prompt, even cleaning twice. The first time was for general tidiness, and the second was for detailed touches (like laying out absorbent mats, etc.). My cosmetics were also neatly organized.
3) The room was very spacious, with comfortable bedding and a sofa.
4) They provided aromatherapy candles and other amenities, and someone even knocked on our door every evening to deliver facial mist.
5) High floor with great views.
Now, the cons:
1) Currently undergoing extensive renovation, so the public areas are very small. The hotel lobby entrance requires going through a narrow, cardboard-partitioned corridor, which looks undignified.
2) Due to the renovation, check-in was on the 19th floor, and the waiting time was extremely long. It was the longest I've ever waited to check in. Every time we returned to our room, we had to go to the 19th floor to switch elevators to the guest room area.
3) A bit far from the subway station. Although there's a shuttle service, it's hourly and requires advance booking, so we didn't end up using it.
4) The in-room facilities are indeed old. The showerhead was difficult to use, with low water pressure and couldn't be fixed in place.
5) The TV placement was puzzling, but we didn't watch it anyway.
I [redacted] but the hotel didn't offer any other plain porridge options... just a verbal mention.FromHK$1,494

We stayed in the North Tower. To get there from the main building, you have to take the elevator to the 11th floor, walk across a skybridge, and then go up to the 20th floor, so it's a bit of a trek. Fortunately, staff helped with our luggage, which made it easier.
The room was very spacious and clean, except that the air conditioning was freezing no matter what temperature we set it to. We ended up just turning it off and only turning it back on under the covers when we went to sleep.
Later, when we got back to the hotel at 11 PM, our room keys malfunctioned, and we couldn't use them to take the elevator to our room in the North Tower. We waited on the 11th floor and used the phone there to contact customer service. The staff member claimed they had sent someone to wait for nearly 10 minutes, but we didn't see a single soul. I ended up having to go downstairs myself to get it sorted out.
The location is great—close to the Airport MRT, and also very close to Central. It offers good value for money; it just depends on whether you can accept this level of service quality.FromHK$601

The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from Phra Khanong BTS station (exit E8). It's quite convenient to get to the airport via the highway. Although it's not in the city center, it was a good choice during the recent flood as this area wasn't affected much. Being close to the highway is important; it took only 30-40 minutes to the airport with smooth traffic! The bed and pillows were also very comfortable.
The separation between the wet and dry areas in the bathroom wasn't great; water tended to overflow. I was also startled to see a cockroach on the table, especially since I was on the 14th floor. However, the overall room size was good and spacious. Considering it was a long weekend, the price was only TWD 1,500 per night. Overall, the good points outweigh the minor flaws.FromHK$274

The hotel is not far from Nana station, about an 8-minute walk. Taxis can drop you right at the entrance. Downstairs is a bustling bar street, which gets very lively and congested after 11 PM. There are 7-Eleven convenience stores at both ends of the street and in the middle. I stayed in a room facing the back of the hotel, and it was very quiet! The front desk staff were very friendly. The only downside was that the grout in the shower stall had black mold, likely due to using the wrong material.FromHK$575

Everything was great, and the environment was good. Although it's a bit tucked away in an alley, there's a shuttle bus to the alley entrance, which is quite convenient! There's only one thing that wasn't so good: the soundproofing is really terrible. I'm not someone who's overly sensitive to noise, but the sound insulation is genuinely very poor! On the first night, I could hear the people in the next room chatting very loudly, and they continued until past 5 AM, making it impossible to sleep, so I left early! When I returned to the room on the second day, there were two Korean guys next door, making a lot of noise all night, constantly ”****” (explicit word removed), again until 5 or 6 AM. It was only on the last night that it finally quieted down. Besides the soundproofing, everything else was basically good, and the hotel staff were very friendly! If they could improve the sound insulation, it would truly be a great hotel! I would definitely be willing to stay again!FromHK$269

This was my first stay at 130 Hotel, and I tested it out for a week. The room was very clean, the air conditioning was cold, and the fridge was large. It had a safe, and the bathroom was spotless with a separate wet and dry area. The sink area was very practical. There was a kettle and a hairdryer, but no toothbrush. It also had a square table and two chairs, which were very useful.
For shopping, there's a 7-Eleven to the left of the hotel, Lotus's to the right, and a CJ MORE supermarket further right. It was incredibly convenient! The breakfast restaurant was excellent, and the food was good too. I also recommend the small shop next to 7-Eleven; both the taste and prices were super.
