Bakersfield Resorts

There are minimal amenities and no microwaves in the rooms. However the actual rooms/linens are clean and housekeeping comes every other day. Outside of the hotel are numerous panhandlers especially because of the gas station that shares the same parking lot. A person with a security shirt occasionally stands outside I assume for this reason. Bakersfield is central to many places and national parks.

The front desk lady at the hotel looked decent but had a sleazy face. She was very cold and discriminated against Chinese people. We arrived at the hotel a few hours early and it was empty but we had to wait until 3pm to check in. When we checked out, she asked us to print a receipt and was very reluctant to print a receipt when she saw that we were Chinese. She said that it was impossible to print a receipt for Ctrip booking, but her attitude towards Americans was completely different. This was the hotel with the worst front desk staff attitude during my trip to the United States.

New hotel opened last year. Gated parking with room key access which is good since the area is questionable (I was approached by homeless at the gas pump in a quarter from the hotel). Breakfast was good - scrambled, bacon, hot oatmeal, waffles of two kinds. Hot tea and coffee are available 24/7.

This hotel is AMZING! The whole place feels like like an apar**ent! We rented a double room sweet and it had an oven a 4 burner range, a dishwasher two bathrooms and a tv in each room. I love this hotel so much! I would defiantly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in luxury. Well worth the money

I drove by and stayed for one night. The price/performance ratio was good. It was an upgraded motel, so parking was free. However, the guy at the front desk seemed to dislike Chinese people. He kept splitting up to serve other Europeans and Americans during the check-in process and gave us a room far from the front desk. The next day, the lady was much more enthusiastic. There were several breakfast sets. You could choose one. The portion was large, but the waiting time was quite long.

When traveling from San Francisco to Los Angeles, I didn't want to stay in a hotel on the highway, so I drove 20 miles to Bakersfield. The hotel is in a good location, close to Marriott. It is surrounded by fences and has good security. Breakfast costs $10. The only drawback is that there is no elevator, and you need to climb the stairs to check in on the second floor.

This hotel is located in the perfect location to access the freeway, very convenient. Hotel is definitely one of the cleaner hotels I’ve ever been to, it seems as though they do take pride in everything that they do. They have a wonderful breakfast with plenty of choices and options. And my little one especially loves the indoor swimming pool

This hotel is very quiet, you can’t hear threw the walls, the pool is beautiful, the staff is very friendly, the ice machine works! (Can’t tell ya how many places don’t have working ice machines! The king suite is huge !

Always a good place to stay love the environment and staff will come back

This the second time that I booked this hotel in my way back to home. Unfortunately this time the room didn’t have fridge although it was mentioned in the booking and one of the comforters had stain on it. The staff was great and friendly as before
