This is not a 5 star hotel experience. Clearly the rooms need some modernisation. There is for example only fans and no temperature control air con. Our bedroom only had one bedside table. When we changed rooms things didn’t work and we had to get them fixed. However staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe and shower. We had lounge access which was a much smaller area than we are used to and served a very limited food and beverage selection, however Oscar was a great host and did everything possible to make our experience better. We went to the gym but a lot of the equipment was faulty. It is limited but one treadmill out of the three had a non functioning ramp. All of the cross trainers were not working properly. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was average but again friendly staff. Thank you also to Clara who realised our experience had not been great.From$70

Located in a safe and residential area. 20 minutes by taxi from the Mariflores area. The rooms are clean but in need of some refurbishment, particularly the bathroom. I gave a 5 star because of the service, I arrived early around 12.00 and I did not have to wait, I was also given a late checkout which was a plus. On both occasion Luis was helpful. When I arrived there was a gentleman at the door, I was expecting to get some assistance with the luggage but that did not happen. Apart from that the hotel is reasonably priced. Few minutes away there is a shopping mall with a selection of high street shops and few restaurant (nothing fancy!)From$95

I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. All my friends booked different hostels all over Miraflores but we've made this the meeting point, as it was walking distance to pretty much anything and everything. The vibes were awesome. The common areas were spacious and very clean. I did a walking tour to Barranco with one of their guides, I believe it was with Juan and that was very cool. The staff in the bar/breakfast area could be a little better. Service was very delayed and they naver had change when you wanted to tip them. I had the private room with a private bathroom and it was super clean and cozy! I was so happy it was on the 6th floor, gave me a little bit of privacy. Overall great experience and highly recommend Selina!From$15

The price/performance ratio of the hotel is not bad, the breakfast is quite satisfactory, and there is no problem to eat for two days. The room size also matches the price. The hotel is in the embassy area, very quiet at night. If you want to eat Chinese food, you still have to take a taxi and go out to eat. Several Chinese food nearby are all improved versions.From$52

This is a great place to stay if, like us, you were using Lima as a jumping off point to get to different places in Peru. It is just outside the airport (and across several insanely crazy roads so I do NOT suggest that you walk there!) and there is a free shuttle that runs every 10-15 minutes. Once you get out of baggage claim, go to the lien of desks for taxis, transportations and go to Direct Taxi 9blue sign) and let them know you need the Holiday Inn shuttle. Someone will take you outside (past all the freelance taxi drivers vying for your attention) to the place where the shuttle comes. (if you ask a freelance taxi driver for the free shuttle, don't be surprised if they see there is not one- WRONG.) The hotel is quite comfortable (and quite busy!) and its restaurant is open 24/7. I had the tuna rice bowl (I know- taking a chance) and it was excellent. My sister's pizza was fair and my brother in law does NOT recommend the hamburger- but hey, Holiday Inn is not a place you think of for haute cuisine. The staff is very, very friendly and helpful; check in takes a bit longer than you might expect but I think that is because the peruvian government requires more than the usual number of forms at this place- not entirely sure. The rooms are spacious (ask for 2 key cards as one must be inserted into the slot just inside the door to activate the electricity so if you are staying with someone who wants to stay in the room while you go down to grab a bite or a beverage, you will need to leave a least one key for the remaining person to not be left utterly in the dark). It was comfortable, very convenient, and quite reasonably priced. To get into town, they will call a registered taxi 9or you can Uber) and it will run about $15-20 USD. would definitely stay here again if our itinerary was anything like ours which was ”Lima to Iquitos to Lima to Cusco to Lima to home!”From$112

Casa Andina earned a customer for life. Since the start they treated us and my family amazing. As we arrived early Tuesday morning. They were able to provide early checkin. They upgraded our room complimentary as we were the bridal couple and this was so useful for entertaining, wedding photos, and getting ready. The complementary morning breakfast buffet is amazing. Useful tip - I found out you can ask for eggs made different and ask for BACON :) The front desk was so helpful all week. They helped us to make our wedding. Also helped with covid test (5 star service - got the PCR test within the same day and they came to the hotel) Overall it was a 5 star experience and my wife and family loved the stay! It was all the little things. Thanks again for everything and sadly now I have to check out but will be back soon.From$106

This Hotel was everything I expected an more!! Phenomenal customer service throughout the entire stay, and everyone was so accommodating to any need I may have or concern. The rooms were spotless!! We visited the the Walwa SPA. The facilities were top notch ! My girlfriend treated me for a massage and then we both did the wet & dry saunas along with the jacuzzi. I am currently staying at the hotel and it has been a great experience so far. I have a neck/back issue and as requested for differenr pillow, they promptly offered me so many options. Also, when I inquired about some techniaclities in the room, never did I get someone from maintenance so fast as I did here, someone immediately came to support me. Moreover, the breakfast is fantastic, the staff is so friendly and the room is really modern and functional, nothing like depicted by previous reviews. As a Platinum IHG member I am used to having great experiences and they offered the same high level of service.From$121

The hotel itself is not 7 stars, but it is the people who work there who makes it such a nice place. Didn’t have a bad experience here, my wife and I happened to be in Peru for a funeral and I had a health issue due to the emotional stress. Santiago from the reception was prompt to call the ambulance and they could fix the situation. Also when friends and family came to visit, I befriended waiter Carlos Abanto, very good guy, he deserves all the compliments, super professional. Because of people like them I plan to come back. Also Zarai Chileno (waitress) was nice and Jose the guy who used to clean my room. With this staff and location I assure you a lot of returning business and many good years to come. Included breakfast is served on top floor area and is quite extensive, including cold and hot selections. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. One quibble- room door does not have eye or latch to check who is knocking. But we certainly felt very safe there.

They had a bike for me to use which was great..lots of good bike paths near the ocean. They had a metro card for me to use. They arranged taxis and exchanged money of They had enough. One thing to know is the hotel.is not actually in the active area so if you want to walk around you need to take a cab or micro. Micros are wonderful. They pass in front of the hotel every minute or 2 and only cost a sole. They almost all go to kennedy park- the centre of action, arriving at kenedy within about 5 minutes. Breakfast was good, but remember to press the button on the table for service otherwise they may nit notice you. It took me a couple days to figure that out. Button method works perfect.

|1.85km from city centerWe arrived in the afternoon. Everyone looked among them because they didn't know about arrivals (will they have a booking system? I doubt). We never checked in, they never took our data and less we received a check from them. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable. There were no soap or soaps. I went out to complain visiblely annoyed and they told me that the manager wasn't there and they knew nothing to us because they worked for the cafetaria/bar. They gave us no key nor anything. I repeat, no check in nor anything. We went to take a walk, my children, my wife and I. At the return the lack of attention-coordination was the same with the difference that the 'manager' was now present. He hardly greeted. I was given a key attached to a dental cord and a soap. I asked for the wifi And they didn't have any idea what the key was. At the third attempt we finally connected. The super basic room, I don't know whether to pack or to wear. Humour to moisture, walls ignored, bathroom with a tank with gouts, the noise of the bar. A disaster!!! We never got information about the place from them, even the street was closed by works and they never explained to us. I could not recommend this place, it is more, encourage them not to consider it.

The room was big(junior suite) and had a jacuzzi in the bed room. The room was very clean and well furnished, but felt a bit industrial. A few pictures, perhaps a couple of pillows and some less boring curtains could have made it WAY more cozy. It is in a quiet residential area,so we felt safe to walk around, even at night. Staff is very friendly and did everything to make sure that we were well taken care of. They have their own chauffeur,that you could book ahead of time, and he took us pretty much everywhere. 20 dollars to or from the airport is a good price. If you are staying in the San Isidro area this is a good place to stay.

Everything around the streets was calm. Breakfast is more than enough and healthy. I love fruit for breakfast. Whenever I go to Lima I will stay there. Around the hotel, there are excellent restaurants like Gaston and Astrid and Beaty Salons. Barbershop and many more. Or if you prefer to dine at the Hotel it is a good option too. Maria S. New York.

The location is very quiet, very safe, clean, every time I have occupied there was hot water, there is kitchen to prepare your food and if you need to keep your baggage, the only inconvenience is that all noises are heard. |8.16km from city centerStayed for two nights, nice location on a quiet side street just north of park Kennedy. Close to everything. Front desk personnel on all shifts were excellent. On arrival I had a problem with the air conditioning and front desk person was up to my room within a minute. Checked the unit and asked if he could switch my room. Explaining everything that I had breakfast included and that was located of a different floor from the reception. I chose a American breakfast the fried egg was excellent salted and fried. Potatoes were with fried onion and rosemary good taste but cold both days. The room large king bed fresh cleaned sheets and comfortable. The floor was a bit dirty didn’t want to walk barefoot and the room needs bathroom door painted pealing and rust also on the towel racks. But you get good value for your money here. The other parts of the hotel were well maintained and clean.

The rooms were quite large, clean and beds comfortable. I had a corner room so I had large windows from ceiling to the floor with great views of the city in two directions. The breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold food items. They even made me a couple of eggs cooked the way I like them. I would re-book at this IHG hotel.
