The clean facilities are very new. The building has a high-end feel both inside and outside. However, the service and the price do not match the price. In a hotel that costs more than 1,000 a night, a four-in-one express hotel shower gel is very stingy and smells bad... The bedding is rough and does not match the price of the hotel. I only asked for a one-hour delay in check-out. After the front desk agreed, they knocked on the door and said that the service could only be served for half an hour. The logic was confusing and the experience was not good.From€68

Tricky to find your way to this place and at night the location is very isolated didn't feel safe to walk from the Bullring.
There was a water problem and I feel it should have been communicated this at check-in however was compensated for water issue and thankful.
I stayed in an ensuit and I know it's a hostel however there should at least be a kettle in the room just you get towels for this just my observation.
Overall it was a pleasant stay as I would imagine they don't have water issues always.From€17

It was worst experience , I planned one night stay in Radisson blu hotel with my husband and I booked hotel through trip app and in this app no where they mentioned about 50 pound deposit when we arrived in the hotel then receptionist informed us 😒 about deposit and second thing AC as well as TV not working and it was my husband birthday I booked that hotel to make his birthday more special but unfortunately that night gave us worst memory . Receptionist gave fan but it doesn’t work , room temperature was not tolerable , my husband felt suffocated , he  slept only for 2 hours . Hotel was fully booked so that’s why we have no option to changed the room but they ready to give us refund but refund is not solution because it’s disturb our plan , budget ☹️.From€82

Hyatt Rengency Hotel Birmingham is a very nice and cozy hotel with great facilities. It offers halal food, and prayer mats are available upon request, which I really appreciated. The leisure facilities are lovely, with a heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and spa.
However, my stay was let down by the fact that the room did not have a smart TV as mentioned on the website, which caused a lot of wasted time considering that I planned to stay in most of the times. The hotel eventually upgraded us (to a similar room just a few floors higher) after several contact made to reception and a long wait, but I’m grateful to Kenza for her assistance. On checkout, Nandini was very kind and offered support for my next visit as a gesture for the inconvenience.
There's also an issue with parking, which operates on a first come first serve basis. So if you park your car on day 1 and say you're staying for 3 days, you have to pay for the parking for 3 days ahead which is £27 for 24hr. During these days if you happen to take your car out and come back with no free parking space, you lose your money. Your slot is not reserved. It would be better if they charge us for parking when we are leaving the car park rather than making us pay in advance.
Overall, a comfortable hotel with excellent amenities, but clearer information on room facilities would have made the stay much smoother. I would have come better prepared.From€142

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express Birmingham – Snow Hill was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything about the experience exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless, modern, and beautifully maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable with fresh, crisp linens that made for an excellent night’s sleep. The layout was thoughtful, with everything I needed right at hand — from charging points to great lighting and a well-designed workspace. The bathroom was immaculate and felt almost brand new, with a powerful shower and high-quality toiletries provided.
One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It’s perfectly situated within easy walking distance of Snow Hill Station and the city centre, which made exploring Birmingham so convenient. Despite being in such a central spot, the hotel was peaceful and quiet, so I was able to completely relax after a busy day.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel is welcoming and professional. The communal areas are bright, clean, and inviting — you can tell the staff take real pride in keeping everything to a high standard. Every interaction I had, from reception to housekeeping, was genuinely pleasant and left me impressed by how well the team works together to deliver a top-notch guest experience.
Although I didn’t have breakfast during my stay, the dining area looked lovely and well organized, with plenty of seating and a calm, friendly vibe. I could easily see why so many guests enjoy it.
In every way, the Holiday Inn Express Birmingham – Snow Hill went above and beyond. The combination of excellent service, spotless rooms, and unbeatable location make it one of the best value stays in Birmingham. The aircon system was totally sucks, it happened to numbers of rooms, even we changed the room it wasn’t help. The staff told me that the maintenance can only be conducted on weekdays (our stays in during weekends) !!!! We can’t breath while we were sleeping, no choice but to open the windows. Our room is facing to the Main Street with heavy traffic even siren sounds from police car. Luckily we just stay for 1 night. Once is enough ！From€65

The Staybridge Suites are a little jewel in Birmingham. From check-in to check-out, staff were really friendly and professional.
The choice at the buffet breakfast was substantial and options for all tastes.
Really comfy mattress and spotless bed linen.
There was a problem with the fan in my room on the first night, and when I reported it to reception the next day, to resolve the issue, I was offered a different room for my second night. Instead, I just kept the card out of the light switch when I was ready to go to sleep. As I only had one more night I did not take up the offer of the change of room but I really appreciated that they would have done this for me which shows that they really want to make customers happy.
Having a fridge and kitchen items was really good.
The only downside was that the shower did not drain away quickly, so if you keep an eye on this when you are in the shower, you could end up with water all over the bathroom floor.
Otherwise, I would definitely stay there again.From€64

Everything about my stay was great! The staff were super friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast (which was included) was excellent.
I arrived a little earlier than check-in time, but the process was smooth and quick. I’d asked for a room facing a particular direction, and the receptionist happily arranged that for me. The room itself was compact but felt surprisingly spacious, with a good-sized TV, iron, hairdryer, and a lovely view over the old canal. The location was also really convenient.
The only small downside was that the room felt a bit cooler than I’d have liked. I tried to adjust the temperature to around 22°C, but it seemed to stay closer to 20°C.
Breakfast was fantastic — plenty of choice and well stocked every morning from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. It had everything from a classic full English to cereals and even a pancake machine! The cleaning staff were also very polite and did a great job.

We recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Birmingham City Centre and were really impressed from start to finish ⭐. The location could not be more convenient 📍. It is right in the heart of the city, just a few minutes’ walk from New Street Station, the Bullring shopping centre, The Mailbox, and plenty of restaurants and bars. It made getting around Birmingham incredibly easy and meant we could make the most of our time without worrying about transport 🚆🛍️.

The bed was very comfortable 🛏️, the décor was modern, and the facilities in the room, including tea and coffee ☕, a safe, and toiletries, were all of good quality. We also appreciated the little touches that made the room feel welcoming and practical for both business and leisure travellers.
The hotel amenities were excellent. We made use of the bar and lounge area 🍹, which had a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Breakfast was a real highlight 🍳🥐, fresh, plentiful, and delicious, with a wide variety of hot and cold options to suit all tastes. Everything was well stocked even during busy times, and staff were attentive without being intrusive 😊.

What a gem! Literally direct opposite one of the rear entrances of the grand New Street Station, up the stairs/lift into a little arcade of shops (nail bar/hair salon and luxury watches) and the hotel entrance.
The check in lobby is nothing much impressive but the overall building and decor with high ceilings, big staircases and marble surfaces are albeit a bit outdated in tone, still much preferable to us.
The room is very spacious and the bathroom with Elemis supplied soap walk-shower and self-standing bathtub is the biggest we’ve ever been into.
The hotel bar, restaurant and breakfast area are located on the first floor looking over the New Street pedestrian shopping street and the staff are very good.

It's not the best hotel on the street. It's very expensive, and breakfast £18 each and we did return throughout our stay. The food was very poor. Weatherspoon was a lot cheaper and nicer. Communal lights on my corridor did not function as it should. I booked a deluxe room, which is basic. No shaver plug in inside the bathroom. TV isn't smart. The bathroom was very clean. The rooms are spacious and bright. The front desk staff were very friendly. Breakfast offered a great selection, and the beer at the restaurant was delicious. We also found the meal portions to be very generous. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 20-minute walk to the lively downtown area, and public transport access is easy. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!From€64

The lOCATION was very convenient; as their was easy access to Birmingham Wharfside and Mailbox, leaving me with many restaurant options. For those that love to travel into the city to shop this is the perfect location due the Bullring was around a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
Upon arrival there was know one at reception to check us in; we waited approximately 5 minutes before a staff member arrived. However the staff member that attended to us we very polite at and helpful. Good SERVICE
The hotel rooms itself had an innovative modern style.
The bed was very comfortable and linen was beautifully textured, they were also very considerate with towel as they insured that spare towels where provided. I must say the the the rooms were very CLEAN I was also very pleased with the robes that were provided. Contrary to all theses great factors the corridors within the complex are in some much need of a refurb.
Apart from the hotel rooms there was no other AMENITIES because unfortunately the guest !NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO THE SPA! due to its closure earlier this year. This was very misleading due to the fact that the hotels unique selling point and main advertisement focus was the spa.From€66

Fabulous apartment, really spacious, clean and tidy with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay.
Reception staff were very polite friendly and helpful, would be nice if the reception hours were longer though.
Location was perfect for easy access to all the attractions of Birmingham City center, although the area itself doesn't look the nicest it was safe and secure and closer to my both the train and bus station.
Would highly recommend this accommodation and Birmingham in general as a lovely place to visitFrom€72

The hotel was quite tatty . The room had mold and a broken window . The bathroom had hairs . Otherwise it was clean and fine . Use the main car park as my car plus others who parks in the side car park was broken in to . My back windscreen was smashed in to and shattered . The manager at the time dealt with my car every well though .From€40

The breakfast is very good. The room and bed are too small. This hotel is fast and there is no waiter at night. Only the waiter from the restaurant came to receive. Because I want an extra bed with my child, I can't add it without a waiter. The waiter said that extra beds must be emailed in advance.From€88
