Bait and switch masters. Given the fact that this is a very popular resort, management obviously feels entitled to provide the service they deem minimally sufficient in order to maximize profits. My wife and I unknowingly made reservations for a takeover four day weekend. The group doing the takeover had their own events either away from the resort or in specific areas of the resort with no access available to the other guests. I had no issue with that fact given that they paid extra for their events. The fact that the group had over 80% of the rooms reserved resulted in the events organized for the rest of the guests, having next to no attendance, the club was dead every night we were there. The takeover group was very friendly and we had no issues with them. We didn’t see them very much. I requested a transfer to another one of their resorts but Adrian Guevara, supervisor on duty for Premier member services, was unwilling to transfer us unless I paid current prices for those resorts. I made my reservation for temptation ten months ago and even then, the rooms were far from inexpensive. I was not willing to pay more to be transferred. Mr Guevara was rude and the furthest thing from service oriented. Though the entertainment staff tried to improve the atmosphere, the playmakers were for the most part, the only ones on the dance floor every night we were there. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.From$405

This review is in comparison to our previous stays, not our initial thoughts on the property. The Vine has always been our go-to resort and our last visit in November 2019 was amazing. Unfortunately we have found that the quality just isn't as good as it used to be: Food quality was the biggest disappointment and has definitely gone downhill. Bluewater was always our favourite but quickly became our least favourite this trip. Pizza at Nebbiolo is delicious. House red wine has changed and was horrible. A/C in the room was minimal - would not go below 71 - we requested a fan but unfortunately didn't get one (yes we know to close the patio doors to ensure it's on). The main areas/restaurants also used to be air conditioned but no longer seem to be, especially in Dragons. Chair game is fierce! I enjoy the sunrise and would be down around 6am and a lot of hot spots were already saved. We were there for 7 days in a Preferred Junior Suite and only received bar/snack refills one day. We mentioned to our floor butler and asked for the refill, still nothing! Normally we received three mini liquors, Pringles and M&M's daily... this trip only on the day of check in. It's unfortunate because we truly do love The Vine - the rooms, views, pools, entertainment and service are still outstanding, but in comparison to previous visits it's no longer a resort we care to return to. Side note: Ricardo at Nebbiolo is fantastic and was the star of our week!SOLD OUT

Zona Hotelera Cancun|11.71km from city center
The Hyatt Ziva in Cancun is one of those hotels I will go to endless times.
First, there are 2 buildings inside the hotel. The adult-only high-rise floor is equipped with an infinity pool on the top floor. An access card is required for the entrance to the lobby, which provides good privacy.
The family room can accommodate children and is divided into two types of rooms, the dolphin room and the sea view room. I went to the hotel front desk to upgrade to the dolphin room for 1 night (additional US$100). The floor-to-ceiling glass door opens to the dolphin area. There are six dolphins in total, and you can interact with the dolphins. Taking pictures is $100 for children who can take pictures independently, and $200 for two people who need to be accompanied by adults to enter the pool for 30 minutes. It is worth the experience.
Personally, I think the sea view room is better. When you open the large floor-to-ceiling glass door, you can see the endless jelly sea. It is also quieter than the dolphin room. You can go to the dolphin area to see dolphins at any time, so the dolphin room is of little significance.
Second, I ate at all eight restaurants in the hotel. Breakfast was all served in buffet-style restaurants. The variety is rich and can satisfy the tastes of people from all countries. The most recommended ones are the Italian restaurant and the French restaurant, which are a la carte. Way. The hotel also has an all-you-can-eat dessert shop (12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m.). I highly recommend trying the cakes and desserts. The cream is made very well, not sweet or greasy, unlike in the United States. The cake is so sweet~
Third, we highly recommend the beach hut, which is open from 9am to 6pm. It comes with services like ordering food, drinks, coconuts, and massages for US$150 a day.
Fourth, parents with children must send them to the Kidz club. Picture 12 shows the activities inside. There are 6 teachers in it. They are all very, very nice girls. They are enthusiastic and love the children. My My daughter goes there every day. There are also many activities, including bracelet stringing, hand-painted hats, photo frame making, sand digging at the beach, go-kart racing, etc. Parents with children can free their hands.
Fifth, the service staff at the hotel have a very good attitude. You can bring extra 1, 5, or 10 US dollars to eat with the chefs and service staff in each restaurant. The hotel's Asian restaurant has Teppanyaki, which requires reservation and can be made through the butler.
Sixth, friends who like to drink can enjoy it. The hotel bar is open from morning to 11 o'clock in the evening. It is best to tip the bartender so that the alcohol content of the bartender you drink will be better, otherwise it will taste like Juice 🤭
Seventh, there is a local supermarket just a 5-minute walk outside the hotel. You can go to the supermarket to buy souvenirs. The price is relatively cheap. Do not go to the pedestrian street to buy souvenirs. The price is 10 times that of the supermarket.
It is a pity that we were not matched with a butler this time, because each room is equipped with a private butler, and the Chinese-speaking butler did not work during the week of our stay. Because the butler will send red wine to the room after swiping the card, and each room is equipped with a service iPad. The order will be delivered in about 40 minutes, and the service is particularly attentive.
Whether you are staying with children or as a couple, this hotel is a must-go and highly recommended.From$735

Hotel environment is good! Meals are still ok! There are 4 restaurants in the evening! 3 to book! There are 6.7 at noon, no reservation! Breakfast two restaurants! There were 29 of us!! Several had upgraded room with butler and he, (Yomelly) couldn’t have been more helpful. Anything we wanted/desired or barely mentioned, he was all over it. My group gave Grand Park an 8/10. The only thing that would have made it a 10 would be more food options. The food provided was good, the rooms and pools very nice…drinks a-plenty, love the coffee & sweets cafe!! As a travel agent, I send a lot of clients to GPR because I’ve stayed twice, I feel it is a 5 ⭐️ resort, walking distance to flea market, easy access to city bus and lots of turtle hatching going on. Felt perfectly safe and will continue to send clients to GPR. From$311

I had a fairly okay experience here but compared to the other hotels I've stayed in cancun this takes the bottom. Check in at the hotel desk are long, hotel room is tiny and you can hear sounds from the other room next to you and there was also construction going on so noise was an issue and hotel rooms bath room doesn't have an air ventilation systems so all your business stays in the restroom. Also considering this has a party beach outside, this hotel is not for people that enjoy the quiet side of life. It's difficult to sleep at night when there's a party outside past midnight. The only upside is if you pay for the all inclusive package your meals are covered that's the awesome part they have got a good buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That's the only thing that made me and my family happy for staying at this hotel.From$144

The hotel was nice and clean. Food was just ok. I've had better at an all inclusive resort. We only stayed for 1 night so we didn't get to enjoy the pool but it looked nice. We booked the ocean view room and I must say I'm so glad we did! The view was gorgeous. The room itself was pretty big and very clean. My only complaint about the room is we couldn't find an outlet to charge our phones.
Coming from Tulum, I booked the room for 1 night so we could relax before catching an early morning flight back home. When booking the room I read that kids were not permitted so I was under the impression it was an adult only resort. I guess I should have read the description better because this resort is very family friendly.
Service was great! From check in to check out the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great place for families, maybe not so much of your looking for a quiet getaway. From$490

This hotel has one of the best beaches in Cancun. The water was so clear and clean. You can snorkel and see some beautiful fish. There was plenty of beach chairs without having to reserve ahead of time. The property for the most part was very clean. It is an older property and the employees work very hard keeping it clean. It is an all inclusive for food and drinks. No complaints there , everything was pretty tasty and fresh. The hotel is centrally located and near shops. The view from our room was absolutely breath taking. The rooms are very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The only negative for us was the smoking. It is a smokers paradise and it’s hard to find a place to relax without encountering the smoke. The hotel has good entertainment every night and very talented people. We would consider staying again at this property and would recommend.SOLD OUT

Extended stay 07:43 local time Less than 10 minutes Ctrip's order was confirmed / the hotel found a reservation in the morning! Repeated confirmation in the hotel and Ctrip in the morning! The original one-day trip to the sea was also forced to cancel. Knowing that the hotel received the confirmation at 11:40 local time, check out first and store your luggage after 15:00! Return to hotel at 17:00 The room is leaking. Ctrip customer service suggested that I pay at the front desk and then compensate me for 926. So if the market price is higher than 926, I will lose money! As a result, the retail price is $ 540! Until now, Ctrip insisted on compensation instead of compensation because it could not perform the contract unilaterally. Then how can I use compensation to measure half a day, if the hotel did not confirm, why should you send a confirmation to the customer, integrity is a standard for customer service to trust Ctrip Responsibility is the bottom line of the tourism service platform! Communicating jet lag is not an excuse for Ctrip to reduce its contractual obligationsSOLD OUT

The hardware is good, but the service feels a bit cold and greasy (yes, these two feelings can be combined, the opposite of it is kind and natural), so the stay is not very comfortable. It is not very convenient to take a golf cart when going out for activities inside the hotel. For vacations, you have all the hardware you want, but the only thing missing is a relaxed and relaxing atmosphere, which is often the most needed for vacations.
If you want to go out, you can only ask the front desk to help you take a taxi. All the people who come here are huge SUVs. They start at 20 to 30 dollars in a few minutes. The fare for a meal is more expensive than the meal.SOLD OUT

Awesome 10 nights stay On arrival we were greeted and bags taken and given a glass of champagne. Our first room was right by the lift in building 1 I asked if we could be moved and this was no problem and given a room in building 2 on the 6th floor. Only problem was the window leaked when it rained but wasn’t a massive problem. After all the really negative reviews I was really concerned about staying but I didn’t need to be so worried and stressed. The food is great the bar in the lobby shut at 1am. The staff are fantastic Raul, Johnathon, Enrique Francisco, Antonio are all very great welcoming members of staff and they will keep your glasses topped up every minute of the day if they could. Mary the omelette lady was also awesome and new exactly what I wanted every day especially the day when I choose peppers and she told me they were hot hot ones lol. Sun beds are reserved very early most mornings but we never struggled to get one. Some staff are funny as in wouldn’t change small dollar notes but would do so for other people, we had to ask bar staff to change money for us. Staff in the restaurants would get us a gin and tonic the next night they wouldn’t and this is how it went on. Pool games are there to get everyone involved but your not forced to take part. We would certainly be coming back here as we loved it Thank you team Oleo for a wonderful stay and hope to see you soonFrom$228

The experience was greatly diminished when the hotel charged $150.00 for the room and key deposits. That was almost equal to the price of my entire stay. This should have been listed in the hotel description. Only stating that additional charges may be charged does not warn of the excessive charge I received. In addition, I am still fighting with them to get part of the deposit back. I travel frequently and this charge was definitely more than most hotels. And obviously, if complaints are not lodged, the deposits are not returned.From$119

The all-inclusive hotel in Cancun is the main hotel. If you are traveling during the day, the meaning of the all-inclusive hotel is not great. It is better to choose this Sheraton Hotel, it is very quiet, the breakfast is very rich, and it is very convenient and safe from the American market. rest assured. Indeed, everything is included, even alcohol, beer without limit, strong alcohol. Moreover, it is of high quality. In the unlimited restaurant you can eat delicacies such as crab and shrimp. Various meats.
What darkened the rest - they stole the Adidas slates immediately upon arrival .. I'm posting a photo of them. The saddest thing was stolen right in front of the camera. I filed a complaint about the incident, they kindly promised to figure it out, but they did not break up and did not show the video from the camera. And also in the room on the hanger there was corrosion and having hung a white T-shirt - he immediately ruined it. A strip of corrosion remains. so check the hangers !! They can be corroded !! There were no major issues during our stay. Excellent service! Tips: Bring plenty of $1s for tipping. I'd recommend tipping around $1 per drink and $5-$10 per meal, more for above-and-beyond service.) Take care of the staff and they will take care of you. Meals: Know the dress code before you dine. The sushi restaurant at Umami doesn't require reservations and the food was amazing. Ivonne, our server, provided superior service. Also, as a vegetarian, I was happy that most of the menus indicated which items were vegetarian, but it was a little frustrating at the buffets to not know which items had meat. For example, at breakfast, I didn't know that the refried beans were made with lard. (However, when we asked about it, the staff offered to accommodate my dietary restrictions the next time we dined. Unfortunately, it was too late as we were leaving early the next morning.) Drinks: The drinks were excellent, I recommend getting a michelada (beer with lime and clam juice). Pools: There are two pools, a pool with a bar (not a swim-up bar) and another with hot tubs. There were plenty of daily activities at the main pool. Rooms: Our room (standard) was great, two double beds. No issues with cleanliness or maid service. I loved that there was a magnifying mirror for putting on makeup in the bathroom. The lighting in the bathroom was also good for makeup/grooming. There was a hairdryer. Toiletries provided included shampoo, soap, body wash, and lotion. There was an iron and ironing board. The mini-fridge was stocked daily (not by the maids, a different person kept the fridge stocked) with a Sprite, a Coke, 2 large waters, and two beers. (If you need more water, just ask at the front desk.) There's also a coffee pot in the room. All-inclusive: Know ahead of time what's included in the all-inclusive package and/or don't assume; just ask! The all-inclusive does NOT include room service, premium drinks, spa services, certain menu items, or tips. Also, there are some restrictions regarding the Italian restaurant and Umami, but you can eat at Umami without reservations; you only need reservations to sit at the hibachi bar. I made sure to read a lot of reviews for Hotel NYX before this trip; the negative ones seem to be written by disgruntled guests who were rude to the staff or upset about an issue they didn't report during their stay (waiting till they left to complain). Hats off to the guest experience manager who artfully responds to every single review.From$181

The location of the hotel is really good, it’s close to the zona hotelera yet it’s still in downtown Cancun, it’s really close to the ADO bus station, which will allow you to take a bus to the airport or to visit other cities at a very cheap price,
The hotel looks a bit older than what appears on the pictures online, I visited 4 hotels while in Cancun and this one was the worst in télé of cleanliness, it doesn’t mean that it was dirty, but it’s definitely worst than what you can find in Cancun
The breakfast is not bad, the pool is great, the staff is friendly,
The decorative style of the hotel looked a bit outdated and it was all over the place, it didn’t feel very coherent to me, which left a bad visual impression over all
But the location of the hotel is really great, you have buses going to all sort of places just at your doorstep, that’s a great way to save on transportation, cause taxi fees can quickly add up !From$84

Upon arrival we were greeted with Champagne! That’s always major we love the feel of luxury. Check-in was brief and to the point. However as we were being shown the property we were being pitched for an upgrade to Xhale which would me our room and amenities would change. We were interested initially but quickly learned the appointment to upgrade would be a timeshare pitch. Immediately we called to decline. The Xcelerate ocean view room was perfect. All the luxurious amenities were a plus including the ability to play music in the bathroom via Bluetooth. The open shower was heavenly with two full stream shower heads from the ceiling. Everything is definitely electronic in the room. You even request room service from electronically. The bar drinks was strong and close proximity on the property. The food was good. We only tried the Italian which was a great experience. The server was amazing. Prepare to party on schedule because often times the music would not stop at the pool when we wanted to turn down from shopping all day. We loved this hotel so much and had such a positive experience here! after arriving at a different hotel we'd pre-booked and finding it to be awful, we looked online for an alternative and got a really good deal here. We got a deluxe king suite for 2 people all inclusive for the week with about 60-70% off the normal price! So we were really impressed with the value. When we arrived, the check-in process was pretty slow. The hotel is massive and yet the reception is fairly small so every time we went passed, there was a big queue of people waiting. Although it was slow, the staff were all friendly, helpful and informative and told us all about the restaurants, pools and all inclusive offering before giving us our room key. We were so impressed with the room! It was super spacious, modern and comfortable. The bed was huge and there was still loads of space. I also loved the bath with the glass divider to the bedroom, and the bathroom was lovely and clean too with bottled water provided each day. We spent about 50% of our time in Cancun out and about, and the other 50% relaxing at the hotel. We were really happy with the time we spent in the hotel; it had about 5 pools, which were lovely and we especially liked the adults only one with the swim up bar. The staff round the pool were really attentive and always very quick to offer drinks and food. The food itself was really great. The hotel had 6 or 7 restaurants of varying spec; some fancier and some more casual daytime dining. We ate in almost all of them and enjoyed the vast variety on offer. Even the more casual offerings (like in the sports bar and round the pool) were really high quality and we really enjoyed all of our meals. The all inclusive offering was really substantial too, with basically everything included. The only thing we didn't have included was the meal we had at the sports bar, but we could've dined in one of the other restaurants if we'd wanted to avoid paying anything extra. The hotel was ideally located for exploring Cancun and doing excursions etc, and we were super happy we'd chosen to stay here. I'd recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay again.From$128

This resort is average at best. It's beautiful, but the service and experience are so bad that they distract from the enjoyment of the property. The thing that separates 3 and 4 star properties from 5 star is usually the service. Iberostar sorely lacks in that area. I regret booking this property for a birthday celebration. To be fair, there are two pros: the food was very good and the commons areas were clean and well-maintained. The cons go on and on: -From the time I booked til the day we left, there was CONSTANT misinformation and miscommunication. From ground transportation to reservation confirmations to check out processes, nobody gave me clear, consistent guidance on anything. This is obviously frustrating and makes everything tedious. -They have an app that is completely useless. It doesn't work correctly and has wrong information. Don't bother with it. -The phone in the room didn't work correctly so getting the concierge on the phone was a constant hassle. -They don't treat all guests the same. We booked 5 nights at the Coral Level in one of their better suites. For some reason, I wasn't given a welcome drink (I saw others receiving them on another day) and the little things you expect at a 5 star did not happen. -The room service menu is a complete joke. A resort claiming to be 5 star should have a decent room service menu. This one is truly unacceptable. -I booked this trip as part of a birthday celebration. I advised the team of this FIVE different times via phone, email, and the front desk (x3) before anyone bothered to even acknowledge it. Again, this is not 5 star service. I am extremely dissatisfied with my stay at Coral Level and will never stay at another Iberostar property.SOLD OUT

The fare for a meal is more expensive than the meal.

|10.94km from city centerI can't say enough good things about this hotel, I just had the best time here. I do want to say that I am absolutely not a resort person who goes to an all-inclusive and spends all their time in the resort, doing the resort activities and hanging out by the beach all day. I spent a total of 8 days at this resort and half of those I was out the entire day. The 4 days I did spend at the resort I mostly just hung out on my balcony (which was FANTASTIC) reading. I didn't do any resort activities, I didn't listen to any of the evening entertainment, etc. I did eat at the restaurants, which were all very very good. I did seriously enjoy my balcony, which was one of the ocean view balconies that has 2 loungers instead of a chair and a hammock (I would not have enjoyed the hammock, so this turned out great for me). I also ordered room service multiple times, which sometimes took a little while and once they messed up my order, but the food was very good, and hot, and you could order it even late at night which was nice. Service across the property was great, everyone was extremely friendly, and I needed help a couple of times with random stuff and they bent over backwards to help me out. Couldn't have asked for better service. The location is great, very walkable to restaurants and stuff, and the property is really very nice. Overall I had a great time and I would happily stay here again.

|4.63km from city centerOverall we had a good stay. The hotel hosted our event of the Motosurf World Cup so I'm sure they have a lot of extra people then usual. With that being said there could have been more seating but I think we just had a lot of people there for the event. Bedroom provided ALOT of clothing storage space, beds were comfortable, a ceiling fan, daily room service (possibly twice daily on several occasions without asking), the rooms were just lovely overall. The staff were all very welcoming from cleaning crew, front desk, Gilberto and Moises always there for you when you needed help with bags, transpiration or a friendly face. There is an excursion office located in the hotel just a little off from the lobby. 3 kitchens to order from inside the hotel as well. (Common area) Located on the 12th floor there is a beautiful Gym with separate men and women sauna and indoor jacuzzi. (S floor) meeting and event rooms The hotel is conveniently located next to a shopping mall with plenty of dining options, shopping, OXXO (similar to 711), movie theatre, zip line, food court up top, a gym and so much more. We honestly went out to dinner every night here. ***** DO NOT GO TO Catina Kitchen Lat. 20. They literally looked at us Americans and saw dollar signs and made ordering extremely difficult as if they've never dealt with tourists before. We even spoke Spanish and the entire meal was just a really bad experience. *** Highly recommend CAO and Montemare Everything looks high end and food quality is, but the prices were so cheap it was just a fantastic experience to splurge with amazing meals and not break the bank. Masks were still worn around dining room and buffet, other than that not necessary. They have a little shop in the lobby that's nice for minor things and those forgotten items. Don't ask them to change the color or bend down extra, she gave me attitude because I asked her for a NON pink toothbrush for my boyfriend ”bro your really going to make me bend down again” .... Bro?!? (I'm a female and by no means a bro) I couldn't believe it more funny than anything. This hotel is more of a business luxury vibe, not a Cancun party hotel. Side note: Ricardo at Nebbiolo is fantastic and was the star of our week!

|6.19km from city centerThe buffet is fresher. The beach seems not to be under the hotel control, there is an extra charge on the beach, it is best to hide in the hotel. Water activities on the beach will be forced to ask for $20 tips, $60 for 6 photos, a Korean 🤏 fee, tell him that he is Chinese, he will not force.
Facilities: Very comfortable 🤤 WiFi full coverage
Hygiene: very clean, there is a little brother who comes to clean every day
Environment: Very clean, you can ask for unlimited blankets with the hotel waiter
Service: Basically everything you want 🤤

|6.35km from city centerBait and switch masters. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

|10.96km from city centerExcellent family stay. The staff are the true gems of this resort. The servers were kind, attentive, and funny. Effanio and Ernesto made us promise to come back soon. The entertainment staff is top notch. Alexander and Sergio were so great, we loved their games, especially the Spanish lesson! And Alondra and Abril in the playroom were so wonderful with our kids. They made them feel like such a big deal- our boys still talk about all 4 of them daily. The daily iced coffees and treats from the ice cream hut were such a big hit. Liga at the pool was so sweet and kept the drinks coming (even virgin “Dirty Monkeys” for our little guys). And the food was really wonderful- room service too! We had some trouble getting channels to load on our tv- and the gentleman who came to fix it sang us opera! We went for the scenery and the experience- but we fell in love with the staff!

|12.45km from city centerHotel environment is good! Meals are still ok! There are 4 restaurants in the evening! 3 to book! There are 6.7 at noon, no reservation! Breakfast two restaurants! Room service actually needs to charge 5 US dollars per service fee... There is no welcome drink when you stay! Did not introduce it! Feeling less enthusiastic...

|10.62km from city centerPlus $50 per night to upgrade to a high-rise terrace sea view room. Let's start with the advantages: 1. The staff's service attitude is super good, which is very important for an all-inclusive hotel. 2 The view is great (high-rise sea view room), the beach is invincible, there are different programs every night, and the sense of vacation is full. 34 bar cocktails are really not inferior to paying bars outside.
Disadvantages: 1. The sound insulation is very poor. It can be said that there is no sound insulation. The walkers can speak through the 3cm gap at the bottom of the door and can be transmitted to the ear without any difference. The sound of the TV next door or even a loud fart can be clearly heard. 2 The food is really average, probably at a level that can be eaten, and it has absolutely nothing to do with deliciousness. 3 The decoration of the room has a sense of age, probably the grade of the home in China, which is almost meaningless.

|12.91km from city centerIndeed, everything is included, even alcohol, beer without limit, strong alcohol.
Mess things up

|10.98km from city centerThis is a resort hotel that many families visit!
I went with an adult friend, and honestly, it was great to see the pretty families and babies!
The all-inclusive was very good value for money, and the tacos and hotdogs we ate on the beach... and the 4 restaurants were all very delicious and enjoyable experiences🥰
It was a shame that the wifi didn't work well at the beach, but I was able to enjoy the sea to the fullest haha!

|10.68km from city centerFantastic property in terms of commons areas. The rooms are pretty outdated and have an adjoining room which feels very unsafe. The pool and beach and breakfast is very good. If I was to give rating in terms of rooms no more than 3 star common areas are a 5 out of 5.

|7.45km from city centerUpon arrival we were greeted with Champagne! If you’re considering I would say go, I would visit the property again in the future.
