The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We booked a meal at Sticks and sushi on the rooftop and had a beautiful meal for my hubby's birthday. In the room the toiletries in particular were very good quality and had a lovely perfume. The lifts were fast and efficient. There was always a cab in the forecourt if we needed one. The hop on hop off bus stops right outside every 25 mins if you have a Copenhagen Card. It is only a 15 minute walk to Tivoli Gardens and the Central Station. The waterfront is only ＜5mins walk. There is a large out of town shopping centre about 10mins walk away.FromMYR 488

The check in process was efficient. Staff are polite and friendly. Room design is nice and very instagrammable. Bed is comfortable. The shampoo, shower gel and hand soap are of good quality and smell nice, I really like the products. You can deposit your luggage in luggage room for free. The only drawback is no kettle provided in the room (I would expect this since this is a 4 stars hotel), you may get hot water from reception which is very troublesome, I went down a few times but the reception has only 1-2 staff working most of the time and there is queue lining up waiting for check-in. The hotel is very easy to find. After landing, just take the M3 blue line metro for 7 stops, and you'll find it diagonally opposite the station. Steel House Hostel was great for my 4 day stay in Copenhagen. I stayed in a 6-person women's room, and got assigned an upper bunk. The room was quite nice (a bit cramped but nothing out of the ordinary), and I liked how high the bunk was- above head height when people were standing, so it didn't feel like others were in my space, and there was plenty of space to sit fully up in the bunk. Bed and pillow was comfy. Lockers were a good size (fit my carry on suitcase plus a backpack; others had bigger suitcases that didn't fit), but the locking mechanism was a bit challenging- basic idea but seemed to be mechanical issues).
There was a thermostat that could be set as low as 17C (~63F), which was the setting in my room, but this didn't work well- it was definitely in the low 70s (F) in the room and felt quite warm for sleeping. The fans in the bathroom and shower (separate, which was good for a shared room) didn't seem to work (no knob apparent for the shower; there was a knob in the bathroom but it didn't do anything), so the room got humid after one or two people showered.
The hostel is huge, and almost more like a hotel. WiFi was spotty or absent in the room, but plenty of common areas to sit or work downstairs. Kitchen was frequently used, and I took advantage of the kitchen fridge for having skyr and fruit for breakfasts (costs 25DKK for your whole stay).
I also rented a bike for a couple days. It seemed overpriced (~135 DKK for 24hr) but can't beat the convenience, and the bike (standard city cruiser) worked just fine.FromMYR 641

Excellent Location, but Room for Improvement in Services
The hotel’s location is ideal, with direct access to the lake and a beautiful surrounding area. Regarding amenities, while there are several options (sauna, gym, steam bath), the overall experience does not match that of other Marriott hotels I have visited.
There were some shortcomings in the room that should not have been present. For instance, the shower gel dispenser was empty upon my arrival, and I had to notify the reception. Items such as toothbrushes, bathrobes, and slippers were not provided in the room but could be collected from the entrance. I would prefer these essentials to be available in the room initially.
The breakfast was satisfactory, though not as rich as in other Marriott locations. There was a delay in the process of entering the restaurant, with only one staff member handling guest seating. This occasionally led to wait times of up to 10 minutes during peak hours (notably on 4 out of the 8 days of my stay).
However, the staff was impeccable—extremely polite, professional, and always willing to assist. If some improvements are made in amenities and organization, the hotel could offer a more complete and enjoyable stay.FromMYR 871

The hotel is in easy walking distance from the Grand Central Station and the Tivoli Gardens, 10-15 mins. The room was super clean, small but with own shower and toilet and quiet. You can also open the window for clean fresh air. On the other side of the hotel you can walk along the river all the way to the Little Mermaid and there are restaurants and bars alongside the river. They have secure locked storage if you want to leave your luggage for a small fee. There’s a communal lounge area in the lobby you can have a drink and or work a little. Not a lot of amenities but it works very well and efficient for an easy stay if you are out all day. I found some nice coffee shops in walking distance close by too. It's very close to the attractions and surrounded by restaurants and bars, which is very convenient. This is a large, well-equipped hostel with comprehensive facilities (though some require extra payment). There are many rooms, and for those who enjoy socializing, the spacious common areas provide great opportunities to meet like-minded travelers and explore Copenhagen together.
The rooms are very clean and spacious, even featuring a backless bench for sitting while putting on shoes or placing luggage. There’s also a private shower room inside the room. Personally, I’m not a big fan of having ensuite shower rooms in hostel dorms, since guests often have different schedules—it’s easy to disturb one another, and I always worry about making noise. It would be great if each floor could offer a few additional shared showers and washrooms.
In addition, the hostel provides personal lockers and towels, which is a big plus. However, the wall hooks in the room are quite impractical—clothes often slip off. Also, it seems there’s an extra charge for luggage storage after check-out, though the use of individual lockers does make it more secure.

The double room was a bit small and didn't have a kettle. When I asked the front desk, they said my small room simply didn't come with one, and even Trip.com couldn't resolve it. Other than that, it was pretty good. The M4 metro station is very close, and within a ten-minute walk, there's a supermarket, a ramen restaurant, and Silo Western Restaurant. I stayed for three nights at their single bedroom and I enjoyed my stay primarily for the location and the reception area with nice seats and sofas. The bar is open until evening and had coffees too. The location is just next to the main city train station and you can walk for 20 minutes to get to Tivoli, the Parliament House and for a little longer to the mermaid, docks, and war museum. My room was typical European extra small but the shower and bed are more comfortable than the typical budget room in Paris. The breakfast is continental and doesn’t change but they open by 6.30 am, which is a godsend if your flight is early or you’re an early bird. You can cross over to the opposite hotel to access a small gym room (no one used it so I enjoyed it). For this hotel booked through Trip.com , the main factors considered when booking are: 1. Four stars, 2. The room is big enough (more than 20 square meters), 3. The location is good (especially close to the subway station), 4. The score should be more than 4.2. 5. Can be cancelled for free (in case of sudden ** situation needs to change the itinerary). According to the above conditions, I chose Hotel Bella Grande. I thought that booking a foreign hotel must be cheaper, but in fact, I chose the co-cheng (this trip to northern Europe booked eight hotels, and the price of the co-cheng was more competitive). Actual stay experience: 1. The hotel's service is very good. After placing the order, I received an email from the hotel to express the welcome and ask what special needs are there? I replied that I hope there is a kettle and desk in the room, and the hotel has implemented it. The staff at the front desk at check-in were very friendly and welcoming and made people feel very comfortable. It rained the second day of our stay and the hotel front desk provided us with two umbrellas. 2. The location is very good. The hotel is located next to the City Hall Square. It is a two-minute walk from the M3/M4 subway station. It is very convenient to go to the airport and various attractions. 3. Room facilities are OK, in line with expectations. 4. The hotel's breakfast was good. The fly in the ointment was that there was no vegetables. After staying for four days, there was no change in breakfast. 5. WiFi is very good. The lobby bar is gone and we were directed to noisy bars across the street for a nightcap. Bar/café and restaurant in hotel are privately run and have nothing to offer hotel guests. Mostly used for private parties.
Room on 3rd floor has view over Radhuspladsen and small balcony which is nice. Room has lots of space but is sparsely furnished with lousy furniture. Gloomy.
We were not informed we had to order room service so room had not been services when we came back in on day two. We stayed four nights and had one room service.

The hotel is in the city centre, right next to the National Museum. Copenhagen Airport is very close to the city, and it takes about 20 minutes by train to the Central Station. Walk from Central Station to the hotel for about 10 minutes. The service of the hotel was also very good. Overall is satisfied. The bed and pillow is comfortable, the room space is enough for us, the buffet breakfast is fantastic with so many choices and the food is tasty as well! Meanwhile, the location is prefect and convenient! A supermarket just downstairs for buying daily necessities and foods. Also, with some restaurants and shops nearby.
The only thing which have to improve is the washroom, the small piece of glass is not big enough to prevent the water splitting out when taking bath inside the bathing tub. It is unavoidable making the floor wet.FromMYR 457

Rooms are on the smaller side, and with many rooms per floor, sound insulation isn't ideal (earplugs advisable). The hotel doesn't provide toiletries or even umbrellas, so be sure to pack your own. The location, however, is flawless. It's just a stone's throw from the Central Station, making airport transfers incredibly convenient. There's a 7-Eleven and a bakery right by the entrance, and the main shopping street is only a five-minute walk away. For this price point in Copenhagen, you really can't complain!FromMYR 209

Fantastic place to stay. Will definitely visit again. We were a little apprehensive about staying in a “hostel” to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday but we had the best time! There were lots of guests who weren’t young. You just need to be able to get on your hands and knees for the bed! 🤭 There is ample room to sit up in bed. This place has hotel level facilities without the cost. There is a 7/11 store 2 blocks away. Under 10 minutes to walk to Enghave Plads Metro station where there is a beautiful square with lots of cafes to get breakfast. It was about 20 minutes to walk to Tivoli Gardens.FromMYR 205

The decoration of the room was disappointing from what i expected. The interior design and material should have been better quality when compares to the price. The space was spacious but the room was decorated with ikea items. Bed and bathroom was acceptable. Staffs were nice and helpful. It's a very unique hotel with stylish Nordic design inside. The best thing is the hotel's swimming pool. I think many people come here for it. The restaurant on the top floor of the hotel has a comfortable environment. It is good to have a glass of wine or coffee, and the food is relatively simple. This hotel is really a rip-off, probably because it is the peak season. The price is very high. The standard room I booked is already very expensive. Excellent stay overall with one initial hiccup. The location was perfect, and our room was clean and spacious with a stunning view. Staff were friendly throughout.
There was confusion during the check-in process that resulted in being given the wrong room initially, but this was resolved.

I've always liked the Scandic chain of hotels. They are all unique, friendly staff, great breakfast, clean and well equipped.

Great location next to Tivoli and metro station, it was also about 10min from central train station so very easy to go around. Very nice looking hotel. The room is small but functional and the decoration is very nice. The negative points for me was mainly the shower temperature that was la at best warm and the heating not really working, also cleaning could be improved.FromMYR 420
