Good stay, but the bathroom needs improvement.
The hotel is strategically located by the river and close to the bus station, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with a kettle and a selection of herbal teas, teas, and coffee. However, the bathroom is definitely in need of an update: the sink is very small, the bath/shower mixer isn't working properly, and it's impossible to take a shower without getting your head completely wet. Overall, though, the stay was pleasant, and I would happily return; I'd also recommend it to friends looking for comfortable and centrally located accommodation.From$135

It was a wonderful Victorian-style hotel. The hotel was remodeled from a former hospital building, and it has luxurious spaces. The rooms were clean and spacious, of course. The bathrooms were also of a high standard. It was impressive that they eliminated the bathtub to save water consumption in order to maintain the sustainability that the hotel aims for. Because we have two children, we were upgraded to a deluxe suite with two single beds for an additional 35 euros. It was so cute. The hotel is huge and the environment is super beautiful. I got a room with a window facing the in-door atrium, which meant not having a window with daylight. For the price I paid, I would expect to have a room with a window with daylight.

It takes only 10 minutes to walk from Cork train station with a suitcase. It's basically a straight line. It's all flat. It's very close to the river. The city center shopping center is across the river. It's very convenient. I didn't order breakfast, so I don't know how the hotel breakfast is. The room is spacious and clean with large activity space. The furniture and facilities are good, and the mattress is comfortable to sleep. The beautiful lady at the front desk is very friendly and greeted us in Chinese. The only bad thing is that the room we stayed in was on the second floor facing the street. The bar downstairs was too noisy until late, and light sleepers would be affected. Everything else was perfect.From$135

I am in love with their bed!! It’s the best I’ve ever slept on. So in love, I had to investigate to find out who makes their bed: it’s by the natural sleep company. I slept deliciously and I will now get a bed like that for my home.
The employees were quite kind and helpful too.
Clearly, from the bed alone, they invest in quality. It’s a gorgeous building and exquisitely maintained with a magnificent old world charm. I hope this gem lasts for ages and doesn’t succumb to the boring, overly modern, cookie cutter trope a lot of hotels have fallen into.

The hotel was okay overall, but there were a few things that could definitely be better. Water bottles weren’t given every day—you only get them if you ask, which felt a bit inconvenient. It’s something you expect to be taken care of without having to remind them. The internet in the room was quite slow. It worked, but not great—good enough for checking messages, but not reliable if you need to do work or stream anything. On the bright side, the lobby looked really nice—clean, modern, and a good place to sit and relax for a bit. The service staff was friendly and the accommodation was very good. The hotel also provides bathrobes and disposable slippers. Not too far from the Cork Center. Compared to the four-star hotel of the same price I stayed near Dublin Airport, all aspects are much better. Unfortunately, time is tight and there is no free pool and sauna to enjoy.From$215

An eine ruhige Nacht war gar nicht zu denken, da die Lüftung bis 23:00 Uhr draußen lief (in den Zimmern nach Südwesten und Westen gelegen) und schon wieder um 6:00 Uhr morgens losgingen !!
Außerdem gab es keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer und das Fenster ließ nicht viel Luft zum Lüften.
