Good stay, but the bathroom needs improvement. The hotel is strategically located by the river and close to the bus station, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with a kettle and a selection of herbal teas, teas, and coffee. However, the bathroom is definitely in need of an update: the sink is very small, the bath/shower mixer isn't working properly, and it's impossible to take a shower without getting your head completely wet. Overall, though, the stay was pleasant, and I would happily return; I'd also recommend it to friends looking for comfortable and centrally located accommodation.

Because we have two children, we were upgraded to a deluxe suite with two single beds for an additional 35 euros. It was so cute. The hotel is huge and the environment is super beautiful. Children can also rent bicycles for free and watch ponies. Apart from the relatively remote location, there are no disadvantages and it’s very cost-effective!

I got a room with a window facing the in-door atrium, which meant not having a window with daylight. For the price I paid, I would expect to have a room with a window with daylight. Spa was not clean and I didn't enjoy it at all. Breakfast was not good either. I won't stay with Clayton again.

The beautiful lady at the front desk is very friendly and greeted us in Chinese. The only bad thing is that the room we stayed in was on the second floor facing the street. As many reviews mentioned, the breakfast was absolutely wonderful! I'd highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good breakfast. We booked a double room for two, and it was toasty warm even in January (though we couldn't figure out how to turn off the heater!). The room was spacious, with a sofa and table, which was a nice bonus – it was great to have somewhere to sit and relax with a cup of tea besides the bed. The TV turned on, but no channels came through, so we gave up on that. There was no bathtub, just a shower, but the water pressure and temperature were excellent. The decor and building itself had a lovely vintage feel, like a charming old European apartment, but the shower was surprisingly modern.

The hotel was okay overall, but there were a few things that could definitely be better. Water bottles weren’t given every day—you only get them if you ask, which felt a bit inconvenient. It’s something you expect to be taken care of without having to remind them. The internet in the room was quite slow. It worked, but not great—good enough for checking messages, but not reliable if you need to do work or stream anything. On the bright side, the lobby looked really nice—clean, modern, and a good place to sit and relax for a bit. In short, it’s not a bad place, but a few small improvements could make the stay much more comfortable. Swimming pool service was good.

As we were staying for one night only we weren't TOO fussy. We got a family room which was also kitted out for wheelchair user. Our view was of a tall, solid concrete wall. Friends stayed in a bright, sunny room looking out over the harbour.. Choose your room carefully if you are staying for a while and like a pleasant view. Breakfast was just okay. I had poached eggs on avocado, peanut rayu and sourdough. Felt it had too many flavours. Would like to have seen some simple breakfast options on the menu. Several dishes served with hollandaise sauce. I also noticed a few flies hovering around the food area. Would not rush to stay there again even though location was fabulous looking out over the harbour.

At breakfast the next morning we were told they hadn’t had a delivery so there were no sausages or pastries for breakfast, this was a little disappointing , Apart from this the hotel was central & clean, the staff were friendly.
