|1.41km from city centerI loved staying at KiiKii Inn. The gardens and views are amazing and the pool is clean and refreshing. Everyone who works at KiiKii was warm, welcoming and helpful. I could not believe the views - extraordinary mountain ranges on one side and magnificent beach views on the other. I spent a lot of time in the pool bouncing between one view and the other. KiiKii Inn is right on the beach so we fell asleep to the sound of waves. The gardens are kept immaculately. I found that all the pools I swam in were freezing for the first 30-60 seconds and then blissfully refreshing - well worth pushing through the cold. The units are spacious. We didn't get a unit on the beachfront but I would recommend that - both for the view and better air flow. The unit we had was near the pool, with lovely gardens outside, but it didn't have brilliant airflow. There isn't a restaurant operating at the moment but you can get breakfast (muesli, toast, marmalade and fruit) delivered to your room at 8am. We were lucky enough to have hired a car. There is not a lot open for food close to KiiKii, but the bus is just outside. KiiKii Inn is incredibly good value.

They were great, they provide locked luggage storage for $5nzd a piece. We left our luggage and headed to Muri beach for a few last hours of beach time. When we got back, they offered us shower services for $10nzd per person. After showering, they let you stay in the bar/patio/dining area while you wait for your flight so long as you purchase food or drink. We ordered 2 mock tails and waited for our flight, the patio had a wonderful breeze and we caught our last Cook Island sunset until we return. These guys are very professional and situated perfectly as they are across the street from the airport. Literally a 1-2 minute walk.

|4km from city centerwe stayed for 6 nights booking a ground floor beach view room. At the airport they check you in to the hotel so all you need to do is pick up your room key on arrival at the hotel. we stayed in the adults only hotel which seemed fairly quiet when we arrived. we were told we could go to the sister hotel next door to share facilities. In each room there is an A - Z compendium about the hotel which is about 60 pages long. In the compendium it states each room has a microwave but we didnt have one. The room seemed as decribed although in places the ratten effect wall coverings looked dirty and simply dated. There were holes where previous cupboards had been removed. The one bedside table looked dirty and mouldy and the table lamp plug looked singed! we just didnt use it. Large king size bed which I found too hard. There was a settee which had a broken leg, a table and two chairs. There was a lot of funriture for the size of the room which made it cramped and difficult to manouevre. The bathroom had louvre doors whch opened abov ethe bed head(?). The inbuilt single wardrobe housed iron and ironing board, broom, dustpan, safe, 3 drawers and can of ant spray. These were the only drawers in the room, which needed another set really. You got dressing gowns but if you were larger than size 12 they didnt fit. wifi was 20 usd for 10 days for 1 device only, so it was expensive if you were staying only for a few days adn it was intermittent. However, you could save money by not having your room cleaned so got a 10dollar credit for each day which you could use at the bar or on wifi etc. aircon worked well if a bit noisy. Mini bar fridge (payable) was barely cold, small kettle with instant coffee and creamer. There was an ice bucket which you could take to the bar and take back to your room. The house keeping staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautifully kept and the entire complex is very clean. overall all staff were helpful and friendly.There was a decent pool with swim up bar and it was warm too, much warmer than the lagoon. Breakfast was complimentary for us, even though everyday we had to sign a slip for 48 dollars. Breakfast comprised cereal, toast, small croissants, cheese slices, tinned fruit pancakes, plain yoghurt, tea and coffee. we went to the sister restaurant as the tables in adult side were set on sand, and were often crawling with ants. we found other meals were pricey compared to outside restaurants and ate out every day after the first day where food was better. Outside the villa, the sand is gritty not soft but there are fantastic views of the lagoon, with sunbeds for each villa. sadly there was a problem with ants over the sunbeds, and patio, no wonder they gave you a tin of ant spray . snorkelling in the lagoon was fantastic with multiple species of fish, stunning royal blue star fish etc. there was free to use snorkel equipment in each room although we had taken our own. you do need to use wa

Basic room was perfect for our needs with great air conditioning which is essential and complimentary tropical continental buffets breakfast each morning. We had an amazing room which was on 3rd floor behind the restaurant with views of the pool, sea and stunning gardens from our window and balcony. The staff were so great, always happy and couldn’t do more for us including see us walking around the island and giving us rides in their personal vehicle and on their personal time. Complimentary snorkelling gear was well used by us and we ate frequently from the restaurant and definitely used the bar a lot. Got a massage at the spa which was blissful and easy to book in for. We will definitely be coming back again, I don’t think we’d want to stay anywhere else! Special mention to staff Ngaoa with reservations help and hospitality staff Veti, Jimmy, Mila and activities team. My only negatives were we had a room that seemed it adjoined to another by a double lock door but when someone was in that room it was not sound proof at all and was very loud. The guests that spent two nights there were unfortunately loud till the wee hours so that kept me awake. Luckily that was only for two nights and then they were gone.

Bagno minuscolo con lavello piccolissimo. Spiacevole la presenza di formiche e animaletti nella stanza. Le zanzariere sono stappate in alcuni punti . Non c'è internet incluso, è necessario acquistare il credito Vodafone o una sim. Non c'è possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in custodia se partite la sera. La strada che portava ai bungalow era dissestata quindi camminare a piedi era sgradevole (ci siamo riempiti di polvere ad ogni uscita). Area piuttosto rumorosa (galli che cantano a qualunque ora del giorno e della notte, bungalow fronte strada con passaggio costante di auto). Gradita la presenza gratuita di biciclette e kayak (anche se non li abbiamo utilizzati).

|1.08km from city centerA wonderful week for my adult daughter and I. We stayed in Villa 1 directly on the beach, and from our deck at times it felt like we were floating on the lagoon. Excellent attention to detail in the villas (which are modern, bright and clean) and the pool and grounds are beautifully maintained too. Sun on the decks until early afternoon, and the pool from late morning. If, like me, you love cooking, the kitchen is well equipped and there is a mains gas Webber on the deck. The breakfasts were enough for us, and you can choose whether to have them delivered the night (afternoon) before if you have an early start. The staff were really pleasant and smiley, and Robyn sorted out all of our requirements without a hitch. We had a small maintenance issue and it was fixed the next day while we were in Aitutaki. The only thing I would do differently next time is to hire a car to pick up from the airport instead of a transfer, even if I wouldn’t use a car everyday. Muri is very walkable, but we used taxis occasionally to go to other area restaurants. There was a dearth of veggies in the shops (or roadside) in Muri Beach so you probably need to car or bus to Avarua. |1.34km from city centerWe stayed here for 5 nights for our honeymoon. We found the bed and pillows comfortable. The rooms were clean and pretty quiet, with air con and a fan. Soft fluffy towels. They presented the room beautifully and with a complimentary bottle of bubbles due to it being our honeymoon. The outside shower was a nice novelty. The pool by the beach was awesome. The only downfall was the associated restaurant OTB, which provided the free breakfast. They also pencilled us in for dinner on the first night and we agreed to a booking there, but found it over priced and the worst food on the island that we had. A short walk down to Waterline Restaurant is a better option. I would definitely recommend staying at Manuia, but eat elsewhere! Manuia staff were friendly and helpful, especially Ricky at the front desk. Great value for money at Manuia.

The resort itself is in a fantastic position and well maintained. The pool on our last visit was looking a bit weathered but we were told this is to be upgraded early next year. It really doesnt affect the use of it and we spent a lot of time in the pool. Returning visitors are acknowledged and it makes going back well worth it. Thanks to Kat, Rowena, Elenoa, Maa, Micheal and the rest of the wonderful team for another great holiday experience.

We fell in love with the place when we woke up the next day to stunning views overlooking the lagoon. We stayed in a premium beachfront room on the second floor. We felt so welcome by reception staff and housekeeping were fantastic, ensuring our room was well kept during our stay. We spent every afternoon at Barefoot Bar enjoying happy hour cocktails, a favorite was the frozen Pina Colada. The meals at Sandals were delicious too, you must try the Pacific Sizzler. The tropical breakfast everyday was so yummy and so much variety. We quickly became friends with the bar staff and would be welcomed to a table waiting for us with big smiles and lots of laughs. Triza was absolutely amazing, she was super friendly and so attentive, going above and beyond for us every day. We miss her! Joel, Roxane, Elaine and Sisi were also so lovely and made our stay what it was. We will definitely be back, how can you resist such a beautiful place with the best people. There is a little kitchenette with a Nespresso machine, milk frother, sink, even a full set of cutlery, wine opener, chopping board and gear for snorkelling ready in the wardrobe. The bathroom is spacious and bright but we would welcome to have a tub there. The staff in the restaurant was attentive, especially around dinner time and they made our time wonderful. Chef Pai prepared a wonderful meal for us and the pork belly was unforgettable!!! We want to thank especially Chantelle, the lovely lady manager in charge. She is truly a kind person with a great heart. Chantelle is so friendly, professional, and caring and we could see that the comfort of guests is her priority. We were only a little bit disappointed by Laggon because there was nothing to see under the water due to the decline in coral reef health.

|2.01km from city centerThe hotel is right next to Little Polynesian, convenient location, you can take the bus to the town, the beach is very beautiful, can enjoy the ocean view directly from room. The room is clean, with cutlery and a kettle, but the bath water is not stable.

|1.46km from city centerGreat little spot right on a great snorkeling beach. We had 2 detached beachfront villas which had little kitchens and views of the beach. Staff were really friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The snorkeling right out the front was great, and it was just a swim away from Black Rock. The villas were down a little lane, so they were away from the road with no noise.
